Allright, I AM a teenager, and I'm more disgusted with this video then that show. You sound like a spoiled brat in this video... in fact, you should probably go to this camp. It'll do you some good. I love this show, because the majority of the kids come out of it with their lives changed. Thats something that you apparently can't touch on.
Dude. I think you need to go watch the whole season of the show, because OBVIOUSLY you only see what you want to see- not the kids like georgie who changed their lives. Seriously parents arn't going to STOP sending their children to these, because THEY ARE PROVEN to be more effective than normal counselling. SO BEFORE YOU GO SAYING NEGITIVE COMMENTS WATCH BEYONG ONE EPISODE OF THE SHOW, maybe you'll see how many lives are changed.!
Alisha, I got as far as the word "hick" & the "harder not smarter" comment in your video. It really doesn't matter what a Brat like you thinks of Brat Camp, it only matters what graduates of the camp think, and they are living happy, victorious lives. As a brat & a child, you can't possibly understand the process of this camp to revitalize troubled kids. It works! Another thing harder work IS smarter work. If you can't see the benefit of Brat Camp you work neither hard NOR smart! You should go!

Wilderness camps teach you respect, honesty and appreciation for your life,health, well being of yourself as well as others. Also the staff there care so much about you and work really hard with you. wow im sorry but this was probably the most idiotic thing i have ever read. i was sent to aspen acheivement academy last year for about 72 days. i did everything that you see in the show brat camp UK but with diffrent aspects as well. Aspen has changed me as a person and i grew so much. you learn so much about yourself and appreciate everything so much more. it may seem brutal but it the kids that go there need serious help and aspen has it. everyone i know who went there would agree
I'm sure that some behavioral camps are excellent, some aren't too bad and others aren't good at all. Some will improve certain things, some will improve nothing, and some will improve everything. It also depends on the person who's going. The particular one I am targeting in this video is Brat Camp (UK). Earning things such as soda instead of always drinking water is good, but something like the comfort which your body is already used to when you are a teen should not be earned.
I don't really know what to think of it. I was put into a program three times because I was "Out of control" When I got out I was better, but I hated my parents. the first time I was in it I was 9, and then I was 14, and again when I was 16. The same basic rules where there. You had to earn things and such. And when I got out I was more in control of my emotions. But I can honestly say my relationship with my parents has suffered.

Actually, wilderness programs are not proven to be more effective than traditional counseling. Quite the opposite, in fact.

I respect your opinion, however i think that brat camps are a good tool to get troubled teens back on track. a little hardship wont do you any harm.
