The awaited one a.j. doesn't know when He will reappear but of coarse He knows Himself for He's been around for the past 1200 years or so!!! whoever thinks that this is Imam al-Mahdi, then they are misguided. there are numerous hadiths about the fact that if someone comes to you informing that he has seen the Mahdi, then you obligation is to deny the person. The Mahdi will never be ssen publically like this until he reappears.
