Well the same applies to a helicopter's rotor blades. At just the right speed, they blur and look like they aren't moving.

The cars wheels actually look like they're moving when it goes fast, but look like they stop for a split second. The choppers rotors on the other hand, didn't appear to move at ALL.

You can do it at home as well take a video where you can see the blades of a helicopter move and film it with a cell phone camera or something where you can play around with the frame rate.

We drill it into their heads, it's important to know the role and capability of a piece of kit but if knowing minute details doesn't enhance that then there is no point and becomes a pride thing. why are you morons arguing about who uses what hardware? yea the UK and US have different standard issue AR's and sidearms, but most of the hardware we use is actually very similar and comes from the same defense contractors (who for the most part treat the US and UK almost identically).

neither country has complete ownership of the vast majority of the final products that either of us bring to war - which, i should note, we tend to do together.
