@TheChunkyKong I didn't say you didn't, 122simran did. You seem confused, did you take a blow to the head? Like, say, if Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked you?
Is that why you're so angry? Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked you in the noggin?
@TheChunkyKong Oh, right. Sorry, you sounded angry. Very angry. So now we know, you're not angry. Is there anything we can do to make you angry? Anything I can do to annoy you?
I am a troll, after all. Just don't tell Chuck Norris, he'd kick my ask.
@TheJsbrow12 So I'm guessing you've never seen a helicopter's rotors at different speeds. You know how if a car's wheels go a certain speed and it looks like it's not even moving? Well the same applies to a helicopter's rotor blades. At just the right speed, they blur and look like they aren't moving.
@WarDog12117 The first sentence seems a bit rude. But no, I haven't seen a helicopter's rotors at different speeds. But the rotors are so still it doesn't compare to a car moving fast. The cars wheels actually look like they're moving when it goes fast, but look like they stop for a split second. The choppers rotors on the other hand, didn't appear to move at ALL.
@TheJsbrow12 The rotors were spinning at the same speed or some division of the camera recording frames. At 20 frames per second, if a 4-rotor is spinning it will look as if it's still at 20, 15, 10, or 5 revolutions per second.
@TheJsbrow12 Thry were moving its just that the frame rates of today cameras are often similar to the speed of rotation of the blades. Thus is appears as if they aren't moving.
You can do it at home as well take a video where you can see the blades of a helicopter move and film it with a cell phone camera or something where you can play around with the frame rate.
@AlexHGlas actually we was watching something not long ago about how we (UK) had brought some chinooks from a US company and they weren't military fit so one of our companies had to gut them and redo them all apart from the chasis.
i really dont care what its called, who made it, or when it was built... that info is for nerds who won't make it, the geeks however, aren't the ones who learn a shitload of history about their aramament, its the people that go out there and practice flying heli's and discussing with real pilots their experiences, pilots dont care what they're plane is called, just how it will profit them in battle, FUCKTARDS.
@huggy99huggy well this is just dumb. I have yet to meet a pilot who doesn't care what their plane is. The pilots are the biggest geeks you'll ever meet, they know their planes inside and out, they have to. You clearly don't know what you're talking about, don't act like you do in life.
@waynebee no i was refering to geeks who just learn names of every fucking thing, it helps in combat, but do we really need to know the name of every bloody pistol and LMG the enemy are carrying? no, and people feel that this 'bigs' them up, i look back and see how my comment is wrong. The history of weapons nobody uses anymore is irrelevant to the present it fills up space that could be used for more useful information...
@huggy99huggy geeks in that term I can relate to, I know many of those kind. We drill it into their heads, it's important to know the role and capability of a piece of kit but if knowing minute details doesn't enhance that then there is no point and becomes a pride thing. In this case though it is good to know that this Apache is more capable, so being geeky and knowing that may be beneficial to ops.
@waynebee also, im sorry to intrude but do you monitor these videos? patrolling for people that make mistakes? because in doing so you will make it nowhere, im not suggesting your life hasn't already been great in the past, but if you keep up what you're doing, you'll become a cynical bastard; just a heads up.
