I was merely point out that the title wasn't really accurate for what happened. I think I'd been watching a lot of Wing Chun Vids that night and was a bit annoyed with it all.

I am the WC guy in the movie. it was choreographed to look the way it did (aka all the stupid comments about stance and 'proper technique') so relax. It was WC-ish. BTW jon, im surprised this got up to 60k views, not bad, it was fun making it.

No, the Wing Chun guy blocked perfectly at first, good blocks at first, and a few good hits with proper body movement... I think. Then after the first success his technique crumbles. I'd thought it'd be the other way around, the Asian guy using Wing Chun, and the other using freestlye, ironic.

yup definitely agree...like from 0:21 - 0:24, the wing chun guy got the moves right but he was standing too close. In Wing Chun, it's important not to stand too close. If the opponent is further, you can always pull them and launch your attack. But if you're too desperate to attack, then your opponent may also attack you back. It's all about only attacking your opponent when they can't attack you. Not out of desperation...then makes no difference from one who can fight and those who can't...

and at 0:33 - 0:36, when the free style dude (Seems like his fighting with Taekwondo) attacked him with the legs, the jacket dude just stand there and got tricked as he expected a front leg kick, as you can see from where his hand went...

If you study wing chun probably, he is suppose to move back, then block side ways, to reduce the impact of the kick. Next, grap the leg. From there, you can either trip the opponent or pull him closer and land the punches.
