@xmasterfunk To understand Newt, you must carefully listen to the actual words he says and not simply draw your own inferences. He said he would have "if [he] were in Congress" -read,'"NOT THE SPEAKER'- he would have reluctantly voted for the bill, "because we had no choice."

Gingrich would never have let it get to this point in the first place. He passed four balanced budgets and there now has been NO BUDGET passed in years.

Not surprised, Newt is a big government conservative. I call that a socialist. He is an advocate for global warming, which I think is a political hoax to siphon money from the taxpayers.
