Someone was selling this on ebay for $40...no one wanted it because its WWE....but i got it and changed the Art on it, and now its pretty much a fight stick that looks cool!!!
hey dude just got one of these to mod. wondering if its normal for the stock stick to lag when pressing a direction slowly. seems fine when i hold it down or tap fast enough. its when im walking back and forth that i notice the lag most. i dont want to add the sanwa parts and find out that its the pcb or something.
@chrisofrays never really noticed any lag in the inputs. just had difficulty registering the corners. that stock joystick is garbage though so putting in the sanwa jlf will make it worlds better.
@onis thanks for the reply dude. i found that my problem was that it was switched to left stick instead of d.pad lol silly me. cant wait to get my sanwa stick. the stock stick hardly registers diagonals unless i do hadoken like motions lol!
Can u do a turtorial of removing the original stick properly im a beginner with an as and the first one i got was this one and i dont want to break it so ya.....
Nicd work. Did you have to replace the Bumper Left and Right buttons pin location to match Heavy Punch and Kick? I know the Brawl stick was laid out different to accomodate the WWE game.
so what i mean is did you take wires for Bumper R1 and R2 and move them to match where Heavy would be for both punch and kick?
@Jiniisama i think i say it in the video, but you literally just peel it off. its best to take the buttons out and remove the joystick before you do so. you can just lift it up a little with a screw driver where the control panel at the top left is and then just start peeling it back.
would i be able to swap out the defualt stick and use Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK?, Also would i be able to swap out the buttons for 30mm snapin Sanwas, thanks
@AmvNational thats exactly what you can do. the buttons are kinda snug so you do have to press kinda hard to get them in there, but 30MM snap ins are the ones you want.
@NfamousLooseCannon $65 flat for the controller, $18 for the Sanwa JLF, and $4.95 for the lami-label. If you factor in the shipping cost its a little more than 90 bucks so far.
im just going to buy the micro switches for the stick

You use the standard SF4 template for swapping the art correct? Not the TE?
M3rchantodeath 1 month ago
@M3rchantodeath correct sir. use the standard edition template.

Does the sanwa jlf come with a oct gate or do I need to get that seprate?
greeleyisamazing 2 months ago
@greeleyisamazing I'm going to say most if not all come with a square gate so you'll most likely have to get the octagon gate separately.

@DemonSkills0 this model is apparently almost the same as the Madcatz SFIV Standard Edition, which there are multiple video mod guides for on youtube
