  • Ashurbanipala , I agree with you on all that , But the part Ashur been My God I disagree , What happen to Jesus ...For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[f] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Oh I have a beter one for you ,brother If my people, who are called by my name,

will humble themselves and pray and seek

my face and turn from their wicked ways,

then will I hear from heaven and will

forgive their sin and will heal their land.

  • @cadeeands now why dont you live like jesus and worship god, the whole tirinity thing was invented to divide early christians. Yes Jesus was the son of God and the son of Man, but Jesus himself said that none should be between you and God. ps. not to mention the church.

  • @cadeeands

Assur is ancient Akkadian/Assyrian word for God. Lets be honest here, Jesus was a descendant of the Assyrians who replaced the ten tribes of Israel that were deported to Mesopotamia and assimilated by the Assyrian empire during Shalmaneser the third and Sinnacherib's reign some 2700 years ago.

  • Khaya Atour, Dear Brothers, let us not separate our selves by the Tribal or church names, as Chaldaye,Syrianaye, Tkhuma, Baze, Jilu, Urmi, Tyare, for they are the names of villages and churches, Let us unite in our true Assyrian Blood for we are all the sons of one father,God Ashur. Speak Assyrian,Marry to Assyrian, name your child Assyrian name, and dance Assyrian. Build Assyria in your Child, so your Child will build it for you.

  • people can marry who ever the choose. just say never loose your assyrian heritage.

  • well maybe thats true but if you dont marry an assyrian for how long can you stick to your heritage becasue that way your children wont marry assyrians and there goes your beloved heritage with all respect,

    enlil

  • true point. Are Assyrian girls not good enough for Assyrian men?

Are Assyrian men not good enough for Assyrian women?

    Of course they are.

  • while I do agree with your ideology, Christ Jesus said never to cast the first stone on anyone, recall the gentiles; so regardless of whom you choose, if God is happy, who cares about what others think?

  • @princessadiamond

We don't mean to sound racist, but we can't afford to be politically correct. We are facing extinction. If we don't guard our identity in an aggressive way; we will meet the same fate as the Assyrian generation of world war one, how many of their descendants do you see in America or other countries where Assyrians end-up today???? the answer is probably NON. They have been all assimilated by these countries.

Make sure your half Assyrian kids marry 100% Assyrians, and so on.

  • Dear fellow Assyrians, Khayetoon for the beautiful dance, but you need to know about the feathers, it is not of Assyrian traditions to wear feathers, the feathers were adopted by the Assyrian of Tyaree tribes as they served in the British Levee army. look at the ancient Assyrian costumes , you will never see a feathers,

  • Again Atour is full of shit.. we had headbands of feathers for centuries, before Brits were alive. Look up your history my fellow Assyrian and don't damn anyone that doesn't agree with you

  • you rock Sargon!
