At the time he was forced to attack one of his friends in a different eva unit. At 12:49 he says 'Dad', reffering to the point where he begs his father to stop the assult. 12:56 is supposed to be an angel, made more obvious by the cross at 12:59. 13:31 with the black background and white text is found in the eva series.

Yea, English dubs aren't always utter shit, in a matter of fact they're passable at the worst. I would like to see an Eng dub for Baka And Test too, as long as the voice dubbing is actually as great or nearly as great as the original Japanese cast. After all, as much as I love the Japanese voices in Baka and following subtitles, which I can totally live with, it's not always easy to follow. The English cast is announced, just not sure when the dub will come out...
