At first, I thought she won because of her celeb status, as the Globes are apt to do, but I just finished watching the first season and it is easily one of her best parts. Thanks to the Globes for recognizing her, and the creator of the show for giving her such a great part. Many great actors are overshadowed by others and don't get the proper recognition they deserve (i.e. Anjelica Huston, Isabelle Huppert), so when it does it is truly rewarding! I hope Jessica get everything she deserves.

So well deserved. I'm glad she acknowledge the writers because the material she had to work with was so delicious. In lesser hands, Constance could have been one note and melodramatic, but Jessica managed to find the delicate nuances that made her character so richly layered and complex. Jessica Lange is one of the greatest actresses of this generation and I can't wait to see what she does next. Still stunning too.
