  • Tea tree is not meant to necessarily moisturize but to cleanse impurities and adds shine. Its so expensive because it is really made for a relaxing shampoo in the salons/schools of Paul Mitchell. You ask for a tea tree experience and its like a 10 min shampoo that leaves you relaxed.

  • So which product would you suggest for moisturize?

  • @elgransr I like Shea moisture's curl and style milk or Miss Jessies Buttercreme

  • Giovanni Tea Tree is also very good. You can also buy Tea Tree oil at your local drug/supermarket/Natural grocer for about 8 bucks. Add some to your hair before shampooing. I use it for my skin. Also extra virgin olive oil from a super market works well if you leave in over night and wash the next morning. Using a moisturizing shampoo is very helpful for moisture. I am transitioning from relaxed to natural, so it's hard to treat 2 different hair types at once. BTW you have beautiful skin! :)

  • I love Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree Conditioner :) but way too expressive I only used it about 3xs. My boyfriend actually used to buy it for himself haha.

  • Thanks for the review, I've been thinking about using it but its so expensive.

  • @trees9112 It is a little pricey but the Sally's Beauty generic version is pretty much the same for a bit cheaper.

  • What would you recommend for dandruff? =(

  • @nimaicupel I don't have dandruff but my mom used to have it BAD! I hear that tea tree is really good for dandruff so you might want to give this or the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Scalp Treatment a try. My mom used T-Gel. Sometimes dandruff may be caused by a product irritating your scalp. I never get dandruff but once after going to a new hairstylist I had it. I found out that the CHI silk infusion was causing it. I stopped and haven't had it since. You can also rub pure tea tree oil on the scalp.

  • @onyxbeauty1988 Thanks a ton pretty!! I also think it's caused by some kind of irritant since i only have it in the hairline (almost at the forehead) =(

  • @nimaicupel No problem. If it's just on the hairline it could possibly be from a skincare product as well. I know sometimes if I use silicone based products on my hair my acne flares up.

  • Your such a inspiration

  • @diana9676 awww thank you !!! :))

  • 1st and formost I love your hair!!! I never tried the tea tree conditioner. I have been so hooked on the "Shea Moisture" I'm afraid to try something different.......Thanks for the review :)

  • @StarrQuality1 Thank you :)) I love most of the products in the Shea Moisture hair and the body line. :)

  • Love the color of your hair.... what color is it ??

  • @MsDixon30 thanks! :) unfortunately I don't know what it's called. I just took in a picture of how I wanted it and the salon matched it.

  • Thanks for the review. I've added essential peppermint oil into my favorite (moisturizing) condiitoners to get the tingling feeling.

I find this is a good way to balance both. Maybe give it a try?

  • @malaika224 Thanks an excellent idea!! :)

  • thank you for the review i have been looking at this product, and didn't want to spend the money. What i have been doing is putting tea tree oil in my shampoo and it has been helping with my dry scalp. I have been trying all kinds of things to help with the my dry scalp and found 2 steps that really help and this is one of them. Plus you and use tea tree for all kinds of things. I don't get the tingling with just tea tree but i do love the feeling and i miss it.

  • @MommytoMonster I LOVE tea tree too. I have a bottle of pure tea tree oil that I use for a variety of things as well.

  • What color are you wearing on your lips? The color looks nice on you.

  • @071803love Thanks! It's Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait De Gloss in #58 Emoi
