Yes, this band is German.Christopher von Deylen is the composer.He lives in Berlin and although not strictly religious, he find the teachings of Buddha very inspiring which have influenced some of his music.

I have been a fan since 1999 and this music accompanies me on every island / beach I visit from Bali to Zanzibar.
