I am an amateur astronomer, the colour balance in the nasa image at 0:22 is absolutly spot on & is the exact shade of red you will see if you observe mars by eye through any telescope. It appears this exact same orange/red colour if observed with the naked eye. If you dont believe me look up in the sky lol, or better still, get a cheap telescope & learn about these things for yourself. =)

I contend that anyone (reasonable & competently intelligent) studying the space program from a multimedia perspective will eventually find that there is much more behind the curtain than we could guess. The first step is to realize that the curtain is there. Eventually many come to understand the enormity of the loss to humanity this imposed matrix is causing. Has anyone tried this? There is a gift to us all from Bill Nye the science guy The mars rover's colorful sun dial. Take a original image of the sun dial with its wonderful colors before launch while it was on earth. Take a image from the sundial in a picture while on mars and the colors are a little off huh? Adjust colors to match especially any white parts of rover, and create a filter, apply filter to mars images and see what mars looks like to a human on mars:) Enjoy!

Theres a difference between looking at mars through a ground based telescope with no software to correct the atmospheric distortions (from amateur astronomers)

and looking at mars through a state of the art space telescope that has no atmosphere to get in the way of the mirror (NASA).

I cant imagine why NASA would need to make the pictures look red.

Also in the photos are structures that look a little...unlike mountain ranges, if you ask me. Plus the Apollo astronauts saw some funky stuff up on the Moon in the 70s. There's no way anyone would tell us, though. We can't even get the truth about the damn oil leak. First they're saying Permian-Triassic with the cracking seafloor, now I'm seeing pictures of blue water in the Gulf, minus all that oil. Microbes are eating it all? What's true and what's a lie?

Even though the government - NASA simply being a branch thereof - is like a fucking lying businessman who says his product will not cause cancer, or wasn't made by children working ten hour days, or NEEDS to cost as much as a summer home on the coast, I want to believe in some of the things NASA says. Maybe it's the dreamer in me, but I find it horribly depressing to think the Moon landings were faked. THIS, though, seems legit. I've seen other photos of Mars looking strikingly like Earth.

Most of those pictures looked very similar to me. Both ameteur and NASA pictures often showed a blue haze around the planet. A blue haze means atmosphere, but atmosphere does NOT mean life. Even the Moon has a very thin layer of atmosphere, Venus, who is bathed in sulfuric acid rain daily has an atmosphere. It doesnt mean life.

In fact, the outer part of the image is missing. The edge of the planet is not shown, intentionally cut off of the newer imagery.

@MegaHazzer123 No, the amateur telescope would have picked up the same redness, just a lower res image, it would look like a less clear version of the red oversaturated picture. Anyway iron oxidide is not that red as everyone knows, which shows colour enhancement and doesnt even look realistic.

Looking from the Earth's surface doesn't mean it looks like that from outer space or on Mars surface itself. Be reasonable... light reflects differently through and between different substances. Of course it looks like that from within the Earth's atmosphere. Color is a relative thing and is not as valid outside our planet.

Do you have sources for your information and accusations against NASA. Do you have have you researched any possible scientific answer to the differences in the pictures.

If so can you provide them for the viewers so they can make there own decision?

I find it interesting that you actually took the time to create this video and put it on you tube. The Novice pictures of mars and the Nasa ones are very similar. The difference between yours and nasa is quality. There is a lot of atmospheric and spacial disturbance between earth and mars. Even on Nasa website,when you view there pictures of mars most say false color,but i see your point and will look into it,i have heard and seen the south has more blue or green because there is a vast forest there,also the south area changes color some what from summer to winter,the north is more sandy "red sand".What is your opinion on the faces,pyramids,vegetation,etc.­?If you watched all 7 parts! Nasa is not telling us the whole story!
