check out the Lee scarbrow Learn how to spin the ball he knows how to do it. he shows you not to put it so far back in your stants and keep your upper torso centered over the ball. when you get a descending blow and crisp contact that is what will spin the ball.

That pink ball is not soft, its probably an intech. All it takes to spin the ball is alot of practice, and good contact. I can hit it 1 foot off the ground and get it to stop. That is good because it makes your shots playable out of many positions.
