@532317 a crf450r and a klx 450 are COMPLETElY different bikes in almost every single way, if your deciding between honda and kawasaki you should be looking at the KX line instead of the KLX line.

just to fit in. Im 14 5'9 and 140 and i ride a cr125 jetted and bored etc. and i keep up to the 250's like nutthing. Buy a 450r and not the x. It's a bit heavier

Apparently the 2006 450f makes a better Supermoto bike than the 07 as it has a bigger cam. You can put a Pipe on it to without touching the Jetting (I did)

If I were you, I'd go with the 250f. I'm 23, 6'2-200lbs and a 450 is still a LOT of bike. I've got an '06 crf450r and it's got more power than I'll ever need. Grab a 250 and work on your skills before making the jump.

Well i beat some 250s with a 125cc with a on a track when I was 12, They go really slow and never get high on the jumps, I keep the speed up the whole way, Well now im 16 with a 250cc

how hard is it to ride a 450? is it like normal when you let out the clutch? not a big jump? im 6ft 1" 125lbs i can shift anf take off and every thing fine on my friends smaller bikes but i have never owned a bike but am to big for the others oh by the way i am 15 a fast learner and i live on a 10 acres strip of land and live in the counrty, i am willing to take the time to practice in my yeard alot oh and yeah its only as fast as you make it go hey :) i will eventually after a couple of months

i have a CRF450R 2005, this was my first bike and man it scared me at first, the torque they chuck out is awesome! at the end of the day the bike does what you ask it too so if your steady its fine! i have had the wheel up in 1st 2nd and 3rd by just roling on the throttle i find it easier in 4th and 5th to use the clutch! how do you guys find it??

i just bought a 03crf450r mand havnt rode much before .i was gona get a 250f but the boys were like no no ul get used to it and want a 450 so i got one and there powerful but handleable.i dont think id want a 250f.

hey people. i had a crf250x and it was great and now it is to less power..the all new crf450r 2008 i just a perfect bike. i have my pipes and stuff but it is so fast and light....I personally would recomend it because honda makes the best 450 ever.....My only words bout the bike is that,,,I LOVE IT...

u can handle a 450, they are hell of a lot of fun, they are fast, but u don't necessarily have to go full throttle everywhere, id say go for it, u will be glad u did
