  • They dont live thirty years.... Nd if they did that means i would have him untill im forty-one..... Im eleven

  • @lazerbeamcat mine is about 12inches and he eats 4 large kricets. At first he ate about 6small kricets.

  • I have a 10 inch male and I might get a 5-7 inch female. Is that bad, would they kill each other. Reply ASAP

  • @Blackout987 lol >.< if not moreeee

  • Thanks grandma

  • i've had my 2 beardies for almost 6 yrs and i've always had a problem. i use paper as a substrate. the beardies always get poop that dries on their feet and underside of their tails. its kinda gross and makes them less appealing to hold and play with. does this happen to anyone else? how do i wash the poop off? using water and a towel doesnt work too well. i'd really appreciate it if someone helped me. thanks

  • @umidontno040394 better off to using sand or kritters crumble as a substrate so you are able to spot clean.

  • @sk8m8d8 yeah i am switching to sand/dirt mix soon. but do you know how to wash the poop off?

  • @umidontno040394 i always try to scoop it out as soon as I see it. If they do get messy, a nice swim in a pan (that you never use for food) of warm water will loosen it enough to come off easily. Sand or other bedding material will help also help but sometimes you have to rinse it off before you play with them.

  • @animalexchange1 yeah i used a toothbrush (after soaking em in my bathtub) and it worked well

  • @umidontno040394 Please remember that most reptiles carry salmonella so after you have the animal in the bathtub, be sure to clean and disinfect the bathtub. Also, be gentile with the toothbrush and never use it for anything else.

  • @animalexchange1 ...well i never bath in the bathtub, but i shower in it. and haha yeah, i wont use the toothbrush for anything else.

  • maybe 100 dollars or more

  • Will a 45 gallon tank work and what would be the price

  • Your American accent is soo cool I love American people talking

  • Check out my Bearded Dragon video =)

  • I love them can I buy one

  • They're gorgeous, I have 2 38 weeks old, they're amazing

  • they need small crickets as well, not the large ones.

  • DONT USE A HEAT ROCK!!! CHRIST SAKE!

Beardies heat receptors are on their upper body, and would not be able to know if their bellies are being burned!

Heat Rocks were designed by satan!

  • The like/dislike bar looks like a lightsaber

  • I thought you were supposed to let the skin fall off naturally and not pull it.

  • @bugmewhen You are, don't ever pull it she shouldn't have done that...

  • @bugmewhen You are, don't ever pull it she shouldn't have done that...

  • This person knows what she's doing

  • dont put a hot rock in the cage it will burn there bellys

  • Aww they are so cute at the size XD

  • Bearded Dragons love to climb, Im from Australia, I see these guys all the times in trees

  • @numchacar same i see them they run up into the trees

  • @numchacar wrong! you have no clue, there are many types thease are central bearded dragon.(from what i can see) so uless your from alice springs (in the middle of Aust) still havnt got the hint?? there are no fucking tress. the one you are see are coastal bearded dragon's. you have just proven you on know shit all about dragon or the differant types. you have shown me you can type alot of shit. *clap*clap*.

  • @XXUNDERCROSSXX ever been to alice springs? theres tree's there so clap clap know it all and by the way i own sevral types off bearded dragons so i don't need a kid telling me what i know and what i dont know so go back and play runescape you ameture

  • @numchacar this is a shared channel. yes there are tress in alice springs but not where thease bearded dragons are. im not ameture i have hard reptiles for most of my life. you own a couple of dragon... try breeding them then call me a ameture. im a hobby breeder(im not in it for the money) i sell them at the same cost.

  • @XXUNDERCROSSXX im basicly the same but i do tell you my red phase central beardys love running up the trees in my backyard, have not seen any beardy yet that does not just going from experience, what other reptiles do you breed?

  • @XXUNDERCROSSXX ONLY BREADED DRAGONS. i havnt really done anything else . i would love to get snakes

  • @numchacar What??? I've never seen one climb.

  • @lazerbeamcat mine is about mid size now and he mostly eats fruit and veggies so he does not eat many bugs I would say about 2 or3 with veggies or fruit a day

  • I'm getting a bearded dragon soon and I'm trying to gather all the info I can so I'm prepared when I do get it..but, one thing i don't know yet, is...how many times a day should it be fed and how many crickets should I feed it a day? (I'm only getting one beardie) so does anyone know? (:

  • @lazerbeamcat What i do is veggies first, so that he's hungry enough to want to eat them badly, and eat a good amount of them. Then after he is done with the veggies, put as many crickets in his cage as he can eat in about 5 min. If he is a little baby this will probably be between 5-12 small crickets. And as he gets bigger it will be more, but once he reaches adult hood you can feed him a big salad every day, and how ever many large crickets in 5 minutes as an adult he can eat, every 2-3 days.

  • i got my bearded dragon yesterday and hes in great shape

  • @mikeanator55 thanks...ive had mine for about two years now and ive heard of tail rot but it says if it has that its tail is soft/mushy and today i saw he was shedding his stomache so sit probs that anyway i greatly apriciate your input

  • Plzz help my bearded dragons tail it a bit grey at the end of it but its not soft or anything anyone know what this could be? Is it normal? He might be shedding but i dont know

  • @44INBLOOM44 no its cool man i just bought one today and its tail was a little gray too. I think its a baby thing and it goes away over time because i havn't seen any adults with a discolored tail. So give it a few months or so and im sure everything will be fine.

  • im getting a bearded dragon on friday and im sooooooooo exited thx for your help

  • @jlojacobs8 me too

  • @jlojacobs8 hey i got mine today too :D really really cute!

  • These are alot more friendly than I thought they were.

  • @orlasark I know! They just sit there while you watch tv or read or anything! haha i love them!

  • awesome video. :-)

  • Check out my bearded dragon video!

  • that one looks just like my lizard spartacus :)

  • as mentioned by comments, hot rocks are BAD for beardies and they get bigger than 15", otherwise it's pretty useful info (i especially like her mentioning hand washing)

  • Comment removed

  • @ThePurpPuffer If you'd acutally read what I wrote you'd see that I didn't say that UVB is harmful to them; I said that UVB coil/compact bulbs are not good for them. So maybe someone else here is dumb.

  • that water dish is an ash tray haha!!

  • @RandomStuff09876 no he said that the coil type are bad, you want the long tube kind, repti-sun 10.0 to be specific.

  • @RandomStuff09876 thats not true and you shouldn't be telling people bad info. pet stores will tell you anything to make a sale, there are more bad uvb bulbs then good, get a proper uvb bulb if you want a happy/healthy dragon

  • @Sprunchy1 i like how you think you know everything, but your wrong with every word you said, bearded dragons usually grow to about 18 inches max, but with the help of fags like you, breeders have made a sub species that can reach 2 feet, but they rarely do. second, they need heat rocks, unless your mental you"ll put it on a temp of about 85 degrees and put it on a timer, stop embarrassing yourself

  • @mitchell02601 wow, no YOU dont know what you are talking about. they dont benefit AT ALL from belly heat therefore they do NOT need heat rocks. breeders didnt make a "sub species" you retard, they just bred dragons that grow up big together over and over again. YOU dont talk when you dont know what you are talking about you IDIOT

  • @mitchell02601 wtf i luv how YOU think u know everything u do need a 40 breeder and they do grow to feet dipshit

  • @Sprunchy1 umm actualy a 55 is better? unless you wna confine it to a small space and make it feel like shit

  • ive seen alot of videos on teching bearded dragons to drink from a water bowl, if they dont drink from a water bowl how do they get theyre water? someone plz tell me, i may get a bearded dragon

  • @OMGitsthatguy1 you should give them a bath and mist them once a week

  • @OMGitsthatguy1 you have to get a spray bottle and spray them about two times a week

  • cool

  • @BlazingJet99 No probs ;)

  • @BlazingJet99 UVB is not bad for them, coil/compact UVB bulbs are bad for them. ;)

  • @Atrax1207 y is it bad for them

  • @Dontrail1234 Those coil bulbs tend to flicker at low rate, and beardies can see that, it causes eye problems and I would imagine headache too. Maybe you've experienced headache brought on by flickering bulbs yourself. And it doesn't feel good. Now imagine that you're living under that kind of flickering everyday.

  • @Dontrail1234 plus they don't emit nearly enough UVB for desert/semi-desert animals.

  • @Atrax1207 What kind of UVB bulb would you recommend? I have a baby and I have a coil UVB bulb because thats what the store gave me. Any help would be appreciated

  • Repti-sun 10.0 24inch tube.

  • 2 questions what about brumentation and what type of beardies are they? :)

  • when you dust crickets in d3 and feed them could i also do that with mealworms and why is it always crickets do they tin to get dustier?? please reply and only if you have a bearded dragon

  • do they need a lot of cleaning?

  • @yiannis1996 You can save yourself a lot of work by removing droppings before they get walked over so check their cage often.

  • any one know were i can get a cheap incubater and how much they can be

    thanks

  • witch is better reptile carpet or paper towel im getting one and do not know also witch is easier to clean out of those two

  • @skorpionfart Paper towel is cheaper and you can throw it away, while reptile carpet is used longer so it smells

  • @skorpionfart I use non-adhesive shelf liner. When my beardies poop all I have to do is wipe it up.

  • One question, can they climb up the wire from the heat rock? cause i have the exact same one and im getting a beardie really soon

  • Help Needed:

I am going to get a beardie very soon and need to know the following questions,

    1. What kind of light Do I need to provide for my beardie?

    2. How much will the diet of a beardie cost and how much do I give him?

    3. Is it ok to handle a baby beardie within the first week in it's new home?

    Help is greatly appreciated ;)

    Get at me

  • @SMTX95 a heat lamp with a 150-250 watt bulb and uvb just place them in the brightiest room in your house you don't need the heat on at night. baby dragons are rilley expenive to feed. thats all I know on that one

you should be ok doing that but give him 3-4 days befor handeling him.

if you have any other questions feel free to ask! =D

  • thanks for the info

  • check out my vid

  • i just got mine today baby nd watching thjis video together he is reral calm or she

  • ROFL BEARDED DRAGON AT 8:51 lol

  • I turned this video when I saw the heat rock and compact coil lights! Never use either of these two things with bearded dragons! Your risking burning and blinding your dragons. If you cant get your temps right buy another overhead light! Mercury Vapor bulbs, or a basking light and tube UVBs are the only way to go other than outside somewhere warm and dry.

  • @thesuperbigman99 Kale and other veggies are an excellent source of water but most reptiles will chase a droplet of water running down the glass and lap it up with enthusiasm. When we spray them, many will open their mouths and drink also.

  • Incredible care video! One of the best I've seen on youtube. I've been keeping reptiles for over 20 years and currently work as a reptile and arachnid expert at a local petstore.

  • I just got one for my birthday. named him Rango

  • @tommyg320 haha cool but rango is an iguana

  • @superphil92 chameleon

  • @reptilefinatic22 Oh I never saw the movie, or the trailer. my friend just said he watched it and he said it was an iguana

  • this was really helpful

    thank youu!(:

  • you need to give you beardies more vegetables i can tell because bellies are so drak

  • i have a question i hope you can help me. i have my 3 month old beardie in a 55 gallon fish tank. im gonna change him/her soon. He runs and plays and splashes in his water dish. but his appetite just isnt what i was expecting. He eats ful size crickets now but eats 1 or maybe two, and thats it. He just turns up his nose and refuses. he likes mealworms sometimes as well. The day temp is around 98-100 and night goes down to 73 and i keep it dark at night. do you know if anything is wrong

  • @pageme101 Crickets and other types of insects are not only what you should be feeding your bearded dragon. If you haven't been feeding your dragon salads at all then that's really bad. They are omnivores so they NEED vegetables plus insects.

  • @pageme101 Maybe, maybe not. There are times when reptiles like dragons eat very little because they are getting ready to shed their skin, a most uncomfortable feeling I suspect. On the other hand, 55 is a lot of space for a 3 month old to chase food. Do you have a gradient on your daytime heat ?

  • i have two of these my dad got me two from my cousin and i just love them but i do love iguanas two

  • HI. I gotta question which one is better Bearded Dragon or Chinese Water Dragon ? does 45cm,45cm,45cm terrarium is good for and baby bearded dragon and baby chinese water dragon does they walk often in house ?

  • mines never shed befor what do i do is he not vhealthy please help me

  • would it be ok to keep them in one tank there whole life??

  • you should get it young so it knows u and if u wanna hold it a lot u should get it young so u likes being held

  • I was wondering if you could help me decide wether or not I should buy a fully grown bearded dragon or buy a baby bearded dragon?

  • do you really need to spray bearded dragons?

  • What size tank for adults?

  • @moneyishappiness

some thing bigger than a 50 gal. is good. :)

  • nice info.

    Steven Barnes

  • there so cute i have 7 only but yours are so cute mine are big

  • I love bearded dragons I recently bought one.

  • I love it ! try out my vids ''johnnylovesbeardies'' is my you tube name

  • you shouldnt even have cords in the tank!

  • Don't pull at the shedding skin it is not good they need to learn how to get out of the skin.

  • @portcitychix and it rips the underneath skin

  • @portcitychix The skin sheds when the animal grows and a new layer forms underneath. They don't learn how to get out, the environment has to provide adequate moisture and rough spots to rub on. It's perfectly OK to gently assist a shed. If the skin does not shed everywhere, you sometimes have to soak the animal and help. Snakes even shed the scale over their eyes.

  • this has definately enlightened me. i have just recently found interest in reptiles as pets. frilled and bearded lizards have grown on me :)

  • Never Never Use a HOT ROCK Or A Hot Pad I Used A Hot Rock And Found Me Lizard Dry Too Death...

  • Should never use a hot rock they burn the beardies belly because they have an under developed nerve systom

  • My dragon REFUSES to eat veggies! How do I get her to eat them?

  • @mommykallgren1 Have you tried dicing them finely and then putting a few mealworms under the veggies? The motion usually will do it.

  • im 12 and my mom agred that i can get one should i get a baby

  • @chihuahuastar31308 Try for a young one that has definitely been eating well and has a nice plump tail.

  • @chihuahuastar31308 start with an adult because it is already at full size, therefore you won't be getting bigger and bigger cages, you just need to get one cage

  • @Ryanicez ummmmmmm no i own 26 beardies and 2 uromastyx threfor i know what im tlking about sooo get a baby get a 55 gallon for wen its a baby and you dnt need to switch cages and it will last it for life and also not to u but 18 inch bull **** some of mine are 2 feet (24 inch)

  • @chihuahuastar31308 yes get a baby trust me ik my lizards lol and 12 is a perfect age to start getting beardies

  • watch my beardie vid

  • my mom wouldn't let me get a cwd but i finally got mine 3 weeks ago

  • Think you

Your video help me with my 3 baby bearded dragon

  • Thank you, very helpful.

  • Thank you @reya70 I hope I can get a beardie seeing as they are a very awsome pet, 1 last question , when should I get a bigger Cage ? And how big should the dragon/cage be?

  • @AXELROXASKEYBLADE A full grown dragon does well in a 55 gallon tank or anything larger.

  • my sisters bearded dragon died the other day was really sad cause it was like her baby, died of old age. so sad :'(

  • Can anybody help me out?

  • @animalexchange

My parents hate the thought of bugs living in the house , I'm trying to convince them that bearded dragons are brilliant pets , its hard to explain it to them seeing I'm only 12, I live in a cold country , the UK.Plus my mum for some unexplainable reason dosent like reptiles.please help me. Please reply asap.thank you

  • @AXELROXASKEYBLADE Since you're 12, your pet depends on parental permission, but something that may help is they will also eat meal worms. I live in an apartment and was given permission from my landlord to keep my beardie so long as I did not bring crickets into the building, and she really loves her worms. They're kept in a little container with tiny holes in the top so they can get air and veggie peelings for food.

  • Bearded dragons are really cheap nowadays.

  • they actually grow 18-21 inches and sometimes up to 24 inches

  • i have a full grown bearded dragon ,but tell me if this is normal. he is 32 inches O.O

  • @iBeccaJ probably got a german giant :) they grow bigger than average beardies!

  • hi i need help i don't no whats wrong with me im not scared of my baby beardie but i don't want to lift him

  • My new bearded dragon is about 6 inches from nose to vent and hates me. I have had it for 5 days now and handle it daily. Is it too old to tame down? I have to chase it all over its tank to catch it and when I do I hold it and pet it all over and it fights most of the time.

  • @hellomynameisjodi most of the time thy are never to old to be tamed. what are you feeding it,and what are you using to care for him?and how new is it? all the info you could give me could help me help you.

  • My new bearded dragon is about 6 inches from nose to vent and hates me. I have had it for 5 days now and handle it daily. Is it too old to tame down?
