What was the official title of this event? Was it like Junior Reining? Did you have to memorize the pattern?

It wasn't a reining show, so the class was just Open Reining, for all age groups. You do have to memorize the patterns, but they always incorporate the same elements, and are pretty similar to any other reining pattern.
