For example, the extenstion of the patriot act, TSA, 911 etc. Really, there is nothing the american public can do, so it seems more of a protest by accusation. I've been saying this for years! I never really cared for the movies (a combination of I was young, and not really caring about "sci-fi", when I saw the first one) but now I absolutely loathe those movies.
