2006 final table Gold had more casino tournament final table finishes than the rest of his final table opponents combined. Gold eliminated 7 of his 8 opponents at the final table. I have to agree with you. While Jamie donked up HSP most of the time, I remember him leaving ahead occasionally. Johnny Chan even recognized how talented Jamie was at talking and that his crazy play mixed with a lot of verbal communication would ultimately give him the advantage since most players there are trying so hard to be quiet and make smart decisions. I think in a tournament situation, Jamie's game is amazing, but now the cat's out of the bag. You can't deny that he was destined to win.
