Well, this could be a matter of Your Milage May Vary, but I found that the only thing scary about it was the gore.

But I do agree that it should not have been a U, with excessive blood and it being the only U movie where a character says within plain earshot "Piss off!"

I've heard that there's a number of films made by the same people who animated Watership Down which are even more brutal. The Secret of NIMPH (I think that's how you spell it) is supposed to be really scary and one film that I forgot its name had a scene in which there's a lab in which dogs are (forseen by us) taken apart.

I bealive that Judge Doom it's just a good villan, also Muntz.... So they have to be bad, and sinister and have a good ending... You mean they're scary becouse they're in a film rated "children" and children might get perturbed?... That for me is kinda silly becouse the idea is making a good movie, with all those elements that make it good... Good villians, and realism, even they're for children... If children movies have to be about rainbows I don't want to see them, nor a kid...
