This was a horrid piece of American history, one that would likely have been opposed by Patrick Henry if he'd had any say in the final process of creating this country.

If you are planning on doing a series based on Native American events, a retrospective on the Plains Peoples would be another good one for a Civil War era moment in American History.

After the Georgia gold was found the US government built the Dahlonega, Georgia mint in 1838 to create gold coins from the gold found in the Northern Georgia mountains. great video I had to throw in the Georgia mint into it just because I'm a coin person :)
