i think it depends where you live im in the uk recession is most likely to last for many years now alot will be supported by the system but if you live in the north of uk then its a depression as the goverment likes to pertend we dont exsist those that loose there jobs will go straight onto the streets with no support the only help you get is if you join the army heh as for collapse then yeah it can happen hopefully it wont come to that but im prepaired as im always in a mad max mood heh
I'll bet that we are headed for a hyper inflationary depression or Greater Depression. It will last 10 to 20 years. When will it begin? From weeks to months. Total collapse is unlikely, yet possible. Plan for the worst and hope the best.
Let me ask you Hans, do you think that in 2009 or 2010 America, Canada and Mexico will join to form a North American Union with the common currency of the Amero? Or do you think that is just nonsense? I'd love to hear your opinion. Wish I was in Norway, I'm part Norse.
I think it is possible if the economy goes to a complete collapse.Civil unrest will follow with a real possibility divided United States.I think this will be much worse than a depression.
Thank you for your videos. They have deep insight to the economy.
I am a little concerned on USA because of deficit in balance of trade and thus increasing debt. The correction has to take place, sooner or later.
I am also a little worried about the Middle East. I do understand the Israelis. It's a small country and their neighbourg countries threaten her to drive to the Mediterrenean (they would have probably done it already unless Israel hadn't strong D.F.).. How this is solved?
The whole of Western civilization is now a huge house of cards. The laws are byzantine in nature, complexity and numbers. The governments are authoritarian. It's clear that this pre-Orwellian state of affairs is leading to a new era. Will it go the full run into totalitarianism or is there a possibility for civil war and Revolution in America, especially if the armed forces are divided. I think this is a possible scenario that could lead to Nuremburg-like trials for the truth to surface.
This IS going to be the worst depression the world has ever seen. No doubt about it. However, China will pull out of it quite fine. Us, on the other hand, will not. All of our good jobs have been outsourced and Americans can't go back to saving because they are in debt. Keep in mind that this will by hyperinflationary, so it won't be just like the 1930's. It will be much worse.
Excellent indeed. An analysis of the current situation with precautionary premises combined with historic parallels. You won't see this in the mainstream media. Keep up the good work Hans. 5 well deserved *s!

Not necessarily.
An orderly breakup of the US into divided and smaller entities is our best shot at reverting to liberty.

Haha lol.
That conflict will never be "solved".
The best we can hope for is an effective terror balance.

I believe totalitarianism is more likely than a "back to the founding principles" scenario.
The government is in control of enormous resources and they will do anything to stay in control.
They will use the printing press and the nuclear option before giving up all they have grabed.

China will face very serious problems.
Their exports will drop dramatically.
Their inflated real estate bubble will pop.
Their stock market is down by 2/3 already.
Their holdings of USD will deminish in value.
There might be social unrest.
The Chineese holdings of foreign currency is not going to help them much.

Total collapse, the central banks are co-operating in fraud. Paper money is toast.
