Probably the same as most people in the know about aussie pub rock. As part of a fucken glorious pub rock continuum; Billy Thorpe, Buffalo, Rose Tattoo, accadacca, Cold Chisel, Swannie, Airborne and a hell of a lot more good old fashioned bogans..continued

A lot of these bands knew each other and were mates; Mick Cocks (rose tat) and Bon used to live together, Phil Rudd and Angry Anderson were in Buster brown together etc. Just because accadacca (who with Rose Tat) are the best of these bands made it big overseas doesn't mean they don't share in a tradition. Airborne are just the latest generation of something that has been going on for getting on towards 40 years.

That is how I reckon Bon and Angus would consider these guys and if you go to the interview on Airborne's german fansite (the one were they are interviewed outside their local pub) you can hear them state that this is how they view themselves.
