@Plautus123 it's just a preview. FYI, the game has been created by scratch by a team of developers that won't even ask for shit (it's free). The unit limit is 200 per player, and you have to think that there aren't even villagers, the soldiers do resource collecting (except for women).

You should check it out, seriously.

ive downloaded the latest beta of this , obviously its not done, but it seems rather fun, except everyone seems to be able to build in this game including soldiers not just villagers which i hope will be fixed in the full release, and when will this game be fully done anyways? and why put so much work into a game and make it free honestly?

Check out the actual website of the game, it says every unit can build and gather resources, however when the soldiers gain XP and level up they get increased attack etc. but they're civilian gathering/building skill goes down.

Wow they've come a long way. I remember waaaay back when Dire_Wolf started Wildfire.

I was in the team that was making the original Rome Mod for AOK. Dire was disappointed that we weren't replacing the Aztec and Mayans so he formed his own team. For a while, our teams even merged together so I was a member. They released theirs first and got a lot of attention for it and went on to make 0AD. Dire_Wolf left and Wijitmaker took over.

In a way I'm partially responsible for this groups existence.
