fucking spoilt rich bitch, has she ever worked in her life, only where she is because of her background., complete waste of human life, hope she fucks off and lives in extreme poverty.
I loved this program, very addictive viewing. Sophie has such grace and beauty, a joy to watch. Her cookery books are wonderful, I love the way she writes, always nostalgic and romantic. Lets have series 2 !!!!
@bigtimv No kidding. And that's a frittata when you bake it in the oven, not an omelet. How can you have a cooking show when you burn your food, and don't even know what you're making?
@MrHomeChef The difference between omelette and frittata is arbitrary at best, but most authorities agree that in a frittata you combine all the ingredients when the eggs are raw, and then cook the mixture until it's completely solid. That's not the case here. 'Frittata' means 'fried', by the way, not 'cooked in the oven'; you can cook a frittata in a frying pan and it's still a frittata. In any case, since she made the omelette and then put the filling on it, it's an omelette, not a frittata.
@lexo30 I've never seen a frittata "fried". I've been a professional cook for over 40 years, and you don't know what you're talking about. Aside from the fact that this woman burned whatever you'd like to call it, so why put out a video of it? As for my reason for having a channel it's so I can look at whatever videos I want since YT decided to censor some videos. And I don't want comments from people, because they're usually idiots, like you. Don't bother with a response, I won't read it.
@MrHomeChef You call yourself a professional cook, and yet you don't have the balls to share your own recipes, because you can't take criticism? Interesting. From this, I can tell that you're a bad cook, professional or not. If you were any good, you would share your recipes and not give a shit whether or not you got negative comments, because you would have enough confidence to ignore the negative criticism. But since you can't take the heat, fine: go ahead and be a loser.
@MrHomeChef I notice you said on your channel that you won't post your own recipes because you don't want comments from idiots. If you don't want comments, why do you have a YouTube channel at all?
waaaaaaaaaaaah dont take it out of the pan lol an arnold bennet omlette is always servrd in the pan ........damn it looks tasty :) so does the food ;) thanks sophie
I love her, she's so sweet. Her smile is gorgeous! And the way she talks about food, it just makes you want to pop to the fridge and make something "delicious and mouthwatering"
She's much better than Nigella. Nigella uses too much prepackaged foods and Sophie has a more vivacious and appealing way of presenting. I love how she reads passages aloud too. Such a great cooking programme and an inspirational woman.
can everybody please stop arguing over sophie V's Nigella!.... Just imagine both, naked, covered in strawberries.... in your bath.... awaiting your 'whipped cream'..... !
@ladystardust2008 I know! ( sorry ! I couldn't resist it!). I've been a chef for around 15 years.on &off, and it always amazes me how some 'celebs' are given cooking jobs like these! We have some of the most creative ,original Chefs in the world, in the U.K...and would be nice to see 'those' guys and ladies 'shine' in the spotlight ! But as I am a shallow man... I shall watch this video once more...ignoring her cooking... and think about whipped cream!!! hahahaha!!
@kernowrock555 Yes I think if I were a man I would be thinking along the same lines so don't apologise. Pity though, that there's no equivalent TV totty male chef for we ladies :)
@ladystardust2008 ... but you've got "Anthony Worral Thompson.....!.With his seductive (squeaky pixie) tones and muscular( edam cheese) physique... he's bound to 'woo' you into submission! lol! ;) go check him out on here now, but imagine him 'just' in an apron! lol! witha grin ! ........Bon Appetit! ;)
I dont see why the BBC needed to plagiarise Nigella Lawson's format. Sophie Dahl may be many things but a cook she is not... like Drummully said... She's no Nigella!!
I like her, people are just getting on the band wagon with some of the press and saying how dreadful she is, but I think she comes across well. I hope the BBC stick to there guns and stand by her program. If you don't like her don't watch - simple!
She's getting axed, so dont be too sad! Haha! No one can match Nigella!! Sophie is proof!! She wasnt much competition!! Sophie cant cook! Nigella CAN :)
@nielswingesoefalk You saved my day, really. I've been searching for this for 2 hours now and I was sure I know this song. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU :D
I love this programme, and I love her! She makes me want to be elegant and English and poetic, and I always end up getting creative in the kitchen after watching this. She's not nearly as irritating or as smug as Nigella.
Actually, that's probably the most spot on way of an English person pronouncing that French word, though it would help if she added a bit of "r" after the "yeah" bit.
This woman is bloody brilliant! I just bought her new book "Voluptuous Delights" and she has a lot of wit and charm along with fantastic yummy recipes.

Gordon Bennett - everything an omelette shouldn't be - burned to a crisp on the outside, dark and rubbery underneath, and underdone on top....this would be sent right back to the bin where it belonged
Perhaps if she didn't pour cold cream over the top of a frying omelette, or used a grill instead of the oven, or actually could cook..
@WillowFrancais I agree with both things you say...it was like webspaceinvader said also...there is something very strange about how she is acting...artificial? unsure? uncomfortable? Can't put my finger on it either, but I do know that NIGELLA WILL NEVER BE REPLACED!!!...impossible!

Nigella sure is pretty and knows how to cook, so is Miss Dahl.
Why won't they re-marry?
Or have they..
Most Britísh women are painfully ugly, but Nigella, Miss Dahl and Gordon Ramsey are exceptions.
