  • She is so beautiful, i love her

  • ur dad is dissapoint

  • fucking spoilt rich bitch, has she ever worked in her life, only where she is because of her background., complete waste of human life, hope she fucks off and lives in extreme poverty.

  • @19331937100 shut the fuck up; she's not living her life the way kim kardashian does. stop with the jellybeans.

  • I loved this program, very addictive viewing. Sophie has such grace and beauty, a joy to watch. Her cookery books are wonderful, I love the way she writes, always nostalgic and romantic. Lets have series 2 !!!!

  • I love how there's so much calmness in these cookingshows. It almost therapeutic to watch haha.

  • Nigella sure is pretty and knows how to cook, so is Miss Dahl.

    Why won't they re-marry?

    Or have they..

Most Britísh women are painfully ugly, but Nigella, Miss Dahl and Gordon Ramsey are exceptions.

  • @scholion and Jamie Oliver

  • @scholion Gordon Ramsey is the most beautiful woman ever, isn't he.

  • @scholion ...

  • i love english accent is nice.

  • i love english accent is nice.

  • I don't know what they call it in the UK, but in Montreal we call that "burned on the bottom"...

  • @bigtimv No kidding. And that's a frittata when you bake it in the oven, not an omelet. How can you have a cooking show when you burn your food, and don't even know what you're making?

  • @MrHomeChef The difference between omelette and frittata is arbitrary at best, but most authorities agree that in a frittata you combine all the ingredients when the eggs are raw, and then cook the mixture until it's completely solid. That's not the case here. 'Frittata' means 'fried', by the way, not 'cooked in the oven'; you can cook a frittata in a frying pan and it's still a frittata. In any case, since she made the omelette and then put the filling on it, it's an omelette, not a frittata.

  • @lexo30 I've never seen a frittata "fried". I've been a professional cook for over 40 years, and you don't know what you're talking about. Aside from the fact that this woman burned whatever you'd like to call it, so why put out a video of it? As for my reason for having a channel it's so I can look at whatever videos I want since YT decided to censor some videos. And I don't want comments from people, because they're usually idiots, like you. Don't bother with a response, I won't read it.

  • @MrHomeChef You call yourself a professional cook, and yet you don't have the balls to share your own recipes, because you can't take criticism? Interesting. From this, I can tell that you're a bad cook, professional or not. If you were any good, you would share your recipes and not give a shit whether or not you got negative comments, because you would have enough confidence to ignore the negative criticism. But since you can't take the heat, fine: go ahead and be a loser.

  • @MrHomeChef I notice you said on your channel that you won't post your own recipes because you don't want comments from idiots. If you don't want comments, why do you have a YouTube channel at all?

  • i love u sophie

  • im sorry i just couldn't hear anything after when she said Bra...

  • "Much rather I had a dish, but I have a bra." Get your nobs of butter out lads.

  • waaaaaaaaaaaah dont take it out of the pan lol an arnold bennet omlette is always servrd in the pan ........damn it looks tasty :) so does the food ;) thanks sophie

  • Ik liked her more when she was chubby... now she is just a plain blond girl, when she was bigger she looked sexy and voloptuous

  • I love her, she's so sweet. Her smile is gorgeous! And the way she talks about food, it just makes you want to pop to the fridge and make something "delicious and mouthwatering"

  • How do they get the hens to lay eggs w/ those crown-shaped markings on them?

  • somebody get that woman a snood

  • what's the name of the song playing at 2:41

  • @catwalkwhore Henry Mancini "Lujon"

  • any relation to Roald Dahl?????

  • @beanladder she's his granddaughter

  • I always think Jamie Cullum is hiding just out of shot.

  • No, she's not Nigella, she's Sophie Dahl! You dickheads! What with the comparing?

  • use to stay aat this wat_ a voil , how is it spelled

  • wow that lookd awesome the way it showed it cooking. More people should have that on the wen baking in the oven or shows u know.

  • I think she's adorable. Why can't she and Nigella BOTH be fabulous? I think they are. It's not a competition.

  • Nigella's shitting herself.

  • she looks like a fish out of water handling the utensils and food

  • Disgustingly stuck up, urgh.

  • She's much better than Nigella. Nigella uses too much prepackaged foods and Sophie has a more vivacious and appealing way of presenting. I love how she reads passages aloud too. Such a great cooking programme and an inspirational woman.

  • shes hot and she can cook... what more can a guy want

  • she's way better than Nigella!

  • being British makes u sexy

  • Lol was at some writter thing in my school and had to give her flowers and get a kiss but walked away from the kiss lol

  • really wanted to make arnold bennet, watched her version and i'd rather not

  • That british accent is promising.... I have to try this ^^

  • I Love This Show. :)

  • i luv the music on her bbc show,i even take my headphones off (while im at the puter) listen her charming stories music editor rocks:)

  • twat

  • I love this show. Sophie Dahl is so charming! I wish we got it here in the states. I like Sophie much better than Nigella too.

  • She is lovely, sexy and her kitchen looks so friendly and calming! And she does not use as much processed stuff as nigella!

  • can everybody please stop arguing over sophie V's Nigella!.... Just imagine both, naked, covered in strawberries.... in your bath.... awaiting your 'whipped cream'..... !

  • @kernowrock555 You are a moral disgrace ;)

  • @ladystardust2008 I know! ( sorry ! I couldn't resist it!). I've been a chef for around 15 years.on &off, and it always amazes me how some 'celebs' are given cooking jobs like these! We have some of the most creative ,original Chefs in the world, in the U.K...and would be nice to see 'those' guys and ladies 'shine' in the spotlight ! But as I am a shallow man... I shall watch this video once more...ignoring her cooking... and think about whipped cream!!! hahahaha!!

  • @kernowrock555 Yes I think if I were a man I would be thinking along the same lines so don't apologise. Pity though, that there's no equivalent TV totty male chef for we ladies :)

  • @ladystardust2008 the thought of Gordon Ramsay basted in golden syrup or Jamiel Oliver wearing nothing but a meringue nest turns me right over :(

  • @ladystardust2008 ... but you've got "Anthony Worral Thompson.....!.With his seductive (squeaky pixie) tones and muscular( edam cheese) physique... he's bound to 'woo' you into submission! lol! ;) go check him out on here now, but imagine him 'just' in an apron! lol! witha grin ! ........Bon Appetit! ;)

  • @kernowrock555 Thanks for that. Suddenly I don't feel very hungry :(

  • @ladystardust2008 haha! Perhaps Dave Beckham ,Johnny Depp or Brad Pitt would 'spice' up your kitchen!

  • I dont see why the BBC needed to plagiarise Nigella Lawson's format. Sophie Dahl may be many things but a cook she is not... like Drummully said... She's no Nigella!!

  • I like her, people are just getting on the band wagon with some of the press and saying how dreadful she is, but I think she comes across well. I hope the BBC stick to there guns and stand by her program. If you don't like her don't watch - simple!

  • @mdndahoodnawaz

She's getting axed, so dont be too sad! Haha! No one can match Nigella!! Sophie is proof!! She wasnt much competition!! Sophie cant cook! Nigella CAN :)

  • Found the music! It's Henry Mancini "Lujon " probably in the new version by Hooverphonics "No more sweet music"--

  • @nielswingesoefalk You saved my day, really. I've been searching for this for 2 hours now and I was sure I know this song. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU :D

  • how do you people get sexy from grating cheese lol I think its your problem not Sophies!

  • i think this is a good show, really easy to watch

  • @mdndahoodnawaz i'm stating she's a toff moron

  • what a toff

  • What is the music in the end? I know it quite well, but can't remeber where from...

  • She is the way too sexual in that cooking. No way i'll like her and this show.

  • She's brilliant! i bought her book and read it and i love her philosophy on weight loss. Just dashing really.

  • I love this programme, and I love her! She makes me want to be elegant and English and poetic, and I always end up getting creative in the kitchen after watching this. She's not nearly as irritating or as smug as Nigella.

  • @ecureuil85 I couldn't agree more! I'm the exact same way after watching her programme, I tend to appreciate food and cooking a lot more

  • @asteroidphobic

Actually, that's probably the most spot on way of an English person pronouncing that French word, though it would help if she added a bit of "r" after the "yeah" bit.

How the hell do you pronounce it ?

  • Camera's over here, love.

  • she is right in the middle of extremely painful and oh so charming to watch. I am intruiged -- haha

  • This woman is bloody brilliant! I just bought her new book "Voluptuous Delights" and she has a lot of wit and charm along with fantastic yummy recipes.

  • @ToLoseItandwinIt She is brilliant isn't she? I was thinking about buying her book but I hear it's not as great as it sounds. Perhaps I'm wrong?

  • twee bollocks

  • "She seems really nice don't know why some people such as yourself bitch about her, then sit there watching her anyway??" Even tho she's clueless about food, she's HAWT to watch :>

  • @asteroidphobic

Then don't watch her then, why can't people just comment on the food and recipes instead of insulting her?

She seems really nice don't know why some people such as yourself bitch about her, then sit there watching her anyway??

  • Why do they keep trying to make cooking sexy or funny? Bring on Delia Smith.

  • @gkj35 You mean LOOKS to you...shallow indeed...then again I've never seen Delia so maybe she doesn't have a very good show...LOL

  • I've only just found out that her dad was roald dahl.. how weird. the plot thickens..

  • roald dahl was her maternal grandfather ...

  • just to clarify.. i'm not knocking her, or suggesting she's strange in a nasty way. She looks very beautiful indeed and very well mannered, there's just something very different/familiar about her that is really, really, really bothering me -i can't figure it out :/ help!!? i can't sleep! lol

  • @webspaceinvader Maybe she just seems friendly and approachable? And poetic and seemingly unpretentious?

  • @girlzed Agreed. I am beginning to like her! something is still bothering me though.. not in a bad way, maybe thats why she's such a big star. Although she does look good too :)

  • @webspaceinvader I'm intrigued, what bothers you about her?

  • Hi. like i mentioned in my earlier post i can't quite put my finger on what's bothering me but it relates to her sexuality and goes back 17 years or so to when i was a teenager. It's actually freaking me out still. I never get phased by stuff like this normally. Hopefully answers will come.. :/

  • @girlzed Hi. like i mentioned in my earlier post i can't quite put my finger on what's bothering me but it relates to her sexuality and goes back 17 years or so to when i was a teenager. • @girlzed sorry that was a crap explanation of what i was attempting to get across, and sounds a little weird too but like i said i can't put my finger on the thing that bothers me the most. haha i keep forgetting all these comments are public, and global even :O

  • there's something a bit odd aboout sophie dahl.... haha.. i cant quite put my finger on it.. but she looks strangely unsure about herself or something.. almost like there's somebody else steering her hugely attractive exterior. Does anybody else get strange vibes from the delicious miss dahl?

  • I agree there is room for new tv cookin' talent, but u ain't gunna b beatin' tha likes of Nigella, Delia, Rachael Allen or Ming.....Sophie is lovely, but boring. The food was almost as dull as she was. I will keep watchin' tho b'cos she's new an it cud jus' b first show nerves.

She needs to get comfortable, an then hopefully she will b fine.

Best of luck to her, b'cos if she gets gud I'll deff keep up :)

  • Ming the Merciless?

  • That is what they call "delicous" in England? Good lord...

  • Looooool!

Sadly in England we seem to think a lot of bland food is 'delicious....hence why I don't eat English food ;)

  • No Sophie, the Italian's don't mix cheese with fish! She has no personality at all!! MY GOD BBC. What is this rubbish you are wasting our money on.

  • Yummy! Dahl and the omelette... :D

  • Gordon Bennett - everything an omelette shouldn't be - burned to a crisp on the outside, dark and rubbery underneath, and underdone on top....this would be sent right back to the bin where it belonged

Perhaps if she didn't pour cold cream over the top of a frying omelette, or used a grill instead of the oven, or actually could cook..

  • i fancy her =)

  • She is perfect! Why people are complaining? I think its the fear of competition.

She is naturally sexy, I love her. Go gal!

    Nigella is sooooooooo last year!

  • Wat does looks have to do wiv cookin'?!

At least Nigella don't cooks up a snore...this was BOOOOOORING!!!

  • @WillowFrancais I agree with both things you say...it was like webspaceinvader said also...there is something very strange about how she is acting...artificial? unsure? uncomfortable? Can't put my finger on it either, but I do know that NIGELLA WILL NEVER BE REPLACED!!!...impossible!

  • i felt like she was like...nigella. but, i like her she is gorgeous!

  • I think it looks delicious...I wish we got this program in Canada.

  • I'm blind and listen to this on BBC's services for the blind. Can't understand what the fuss is about.

  • My God. She really CAN'T cook, can she?

  • She's no Nigella!!

  • I completely agree...and she's trying soooooo hard to be too. Nigella is peerless.

  • @Drummully Nigella is shite

  • @ladystardust2008

Well Nigella can actually cook, and has amazing talent! Please explain why you think she's "shite"

  • @Drummully Who are you, Nigella's agent?

  • @ladystardust2008 Looks like you have a problem with anyone who has an opinion on Ms Dahl! Well I'd love to know the reasons on how she is a better cook than Nigella!

  • @Drummully Looks like you have a problem with anyone who has an opinion that varies from your own

i would love to know the reason you believe you can try to interrogate people on matters which probably have 0% importance

    Peace out !

  • @Drummully she's not trying to be nigella.
