@froobs101 You most likely saw a meteor or "shooting star" . They can appear white, green, brown, orange, silver etc.. Debris is constantly burning up in Earths atmosphere. I spend a lot of time imaging the night sky and I see meteors almost every night. Be sure to watch for the Perseid Meteor Shower this August 11th-14th 2010, should be a good show this year.

If Nibiru or Planet X were real and headed for an encounter with the Earth in 2012astronomers would have been tracking it for at least the past decade and it would be visible by now to the naked eye. Obviously it does not exist Eris is real but it is a dwarf planet similar to Pluto that will remain in the outer solar system the closest it can come to Earth is about 4 billion miles.

@logolou the large asteroid you are talking about was a measly 50 ft or so (if were talking about the same one) it would have had the same affect as this one did most likely. it would have burned up and or broke into little peices, some rocks would have possibly hit but no major damage would have been made. the rock scientist look for are much bigger, and something as big as "planet X" would have been found by now.

No contradiction. Google it. The magma that makes up the sea floor records the reversals. When magma first emerges it is soft, the iron atoms align to the north pole like a compass. Then it becomes solid, locking the atoms in place. As you move away from the rift, you are going back in time. For a time, the atoms are aligned to the north. Then there is a sudden change, and the atoms are aligned in the opposite direction, towards the south. It's not a theory. Rock hard proof, etched in stone.

The poles have reversed many times in earth's past, and it happens in a matter of days, or hours, not years. That's hard scientific fact, etched in stone across thousands of miles of sea floor. Scientists disagree about the cause. But there's only one thing I know of that can make a magnet flip, a BIGGER MAGNET. That is Nibiru. Just my theory though, I hope I'm wrong.

For a physical ( crustial ) shift to occur caused by the mechanics of Earths mantles and cores it would...well...defy all the laws of known astrophysics. Mind you an actual physical pole shift IS possible if Earth were to be invloved with a collision with a huge celestial body and its angle and speed were precise enough. Only problem ? It would send everything hurtling off into space.

it can't defy physics if it has already happened. look up the planet Uranus. It's tilted 97 degrees off it's axis. It has happened to other planets. It has happened to Earth in the past. It will happen again, accompanied by tremendous earth quakes and tsunamis.

What would defy physics? The crust is solid, the core is solid, and between the crust and the core is liquid magma. What would prevent the core from rotating within the magma? Nothing. The core is a magnet. A powerful magnetic field can cause the core to realign itself in relation to the crust. The crust would remain stationary, but the magnetic poles would relocate to new positions based on the orientation of the core. Magnets move magnets, that's grade school science.

Yes, magnetic ( magnetosphere ) poles do indeed shift every 300,000 plus years, it's a proven scientific fact and they occur over the course of years, not days or hours as you are trying to suggest. So what is your point ? If it took years the boundry between the magma deposits would be wide, with a significant area inbetween where the iron atoms are randomly aligned. But the sea floor research indicated no such area. The magma with N-S oriented iron atoms changes suddenly to a S-N orientation at the boundry. Did you even bother to read the book? Too lazy? Ziegler cites a host of references, Gordon Andrew Macdonald and Frank L. Peterson to name a few.

Nibiru and other stories about wayward planets are an Internet hoax. There is no factual basis for these claims. If Nibiru or Planet X were real and headed for an encounter with the Earth in 2012astronomers would have been tracking it for at least the past decade and it would be visible by now to the naked eye. Obviously it does not exist Eris is real but it is a dwarf planet similar to Pluto that will remain in the outer solar system the closest it can come to Earth is about 4 billion miles.

Im not yet sure about the planet x theories, but what I do know is that A large asteroid passed over earth just a few weeks ago, it was closer to us than the moon is and yet the so called 'experts' only found it just 15 hours before it passed over. Doesn't give us much faith in 'tracking', does it?

@logolou Seems to be more and more frequent. There are many craters on earth's surface, so it has happened in the past, it will surely happen again someday. If there is anything to planet x / nibiru theories, the meteors will continue to increase in size and frequency. Time will tell.

I agree, I'm not ready to go just yet, but we don't get to choose unfortunately. The folks that got hit by that Tsunami in 2004 probably weren't ready to go yet either. They were given a false sense of security by modern "science". Everyone on here should understand by now that modern "science" exists to protect the "status-quo", they will never tell us the truth. Ignore them and study what the ancients recorded thousands of years ago. Those who survived saw Nibiru, and left a warning for us.

@logolou the large asteroid you are talking about was a measly 50 ft or so (if were talking about the same one) it would have had the same affect as this one did most likely. it would have burned up and or broke into little peices, some rocks would have possibly hit but no major damage would have been made. the rock scientist look for are much bigger, and something as big as "planet X" would have been found by now.
