  • its not even decent

  • Also, im sure the wine is added so your company gets too drunk to tell how bad the spaghetti taste....

Thats like spiking the punch and taking advantage... this man is all wrong! lol

  • This dude is doing it all WRONG!!

The sausages should never be cut in half in the first place..

When you cut a sausage in half, you're cooking the inner meat unevenly, when its still in the skin lining its keeps the flavor in and cooks proportionately!

ALSO..You didn't even add the bare bone ingredient- Salt and Pepper! HOLY F@$K!

NOW @ 3:16 its NOT BROWNED-- ITS BURNT! Because you burnt the GARLIC!

It had FAILED written everywhere when he introduced ONION POWDER! SMH! Im not even a chef.

  • why is porno music playing in the background?

  • youre a jackass. might be able to get away with using canned tomatoes, but onion powder? step it up this is BS

  • I like the recipie, but I have to admit I would fry the tomato paste in the oil to ad that extra layer of flavor and then simmer for about an hour. Then it's time to manga manga!!!! Thanks for sharing!

  • Mmmmmm garlic!

  • Hmmm ummm ummm

  • ?v=1HePoUx8Tbs

  • @BBpandaVip shud try, its easeh ;D

  • @Exora09 LOL u're here .@.@ that's creepy hahaha.

  • I actually tried it your way, only instead of sweet italian sausage, I used bratwurst.

    Your recipe just plain ROCKS!

There's no other way to put it man, it just rocks, and goes down nicely too.

  • @davedetrick jesus i cant believe people actually like this....its full of dried, canned garbage ingredients....the garlic was burned to shit and the wine was of the lowest quality...what a shame to italian cooking

  • can i use cranberry juice instead of wine?

  • i think that's way too much garlic...

  • i dont drink wine how can i sub that

  • 4:40 LMAO, Oh yeah shake that out !

  • my mom taught me this way:

ingredients= 1/2 butter, oregano, basil leaf, crushed black pepper, minced chicken, tomato juice, onion, tomato sos, mushroom, salt

first put in the butter, then cook the minced onion & chicken, then pour in some water after the chicken & onion has cooked, stir for awhile, then add the tomato juice or tomato paste & stir alittle, later add in the tomato sos, oregano, basil leaf, crushed black pepper, salt & stir well

cook it until it taste good!

  • @theremotemusic 1/2...butter? 1/2 cup or 1/2 stick?

  • This looks like a pretty good recipe.

  • '' gotta have a wooden spoon their great for stirring and spanking kids''

  • What flavor was the sausage??

  • lol spanking kids.

  • Are you mexican?

  • love your recipe dude.

  • it looks disgusting.

  • Nice and simple. Thanks!

  • Jesus Christ, that looks disgusting. Guys, just because this guy is a cook doesn't mean he can cook!! The only cook to thrust is your inner cook. Trying to imitate a 'pro' always leads to failure...

  • props jack..you know what you're doing..forget the haters.. seriously..

  • "Whoever doesn't put meat, you might as well just crack open a thing of sauce and use that." Why do I need to use meat? Can't I just cook it however I want to? I don't think I should need to in order to follow this recipe?

  • Fucked that my homemade sauce. Hamburgermeat, italy sausage, groundsausage.salt, pepper, keptchup, onion, gralic, chopped ham, chopped sausage, sugar, tomatopaste, water, oregano. Let cook for an hour that shit gud

  • im italian and thats a fail sauce, believe me =)

  • Cooking with Extra Virgin Olive Oil? Not a good idea...

  • 4:46 sounds wrong or is it just me?

  • "Turn it on high heat"

Could you show us how to use the stove first?

  • this is too delicious! :O

  • Awesome video. I've always taken spaghetti sauce in can form. NEVER AGAIN!

  • Dont look so good in my eyes.... But you can´t tell before you have taste it. I know a really good recipie on a pasta sause (Im from Sweden).

  • Is he saying purée like pure-EE?

    ... And he's teaching a cooking show.

  • Would cooks please sampling their own recipes and saying, "Oh this is gonna be hot!!". They blow on it.... Then they get all guttural sounding..."uumpppppppph, arrggghh, mmph" "So Good!!.

One could be a connoisseur of dirt and find it tasty.

Why just not say, " I loved this recipe !!" and for the final comment, "Sample to taste!!" Please send me your comments. Blah blah blah.

Love ya Jack. Just tired of cooks who go yummy over their own recipe.

"Mmm gravel, with toe jam!! so great. Crunch!

  • If I want to add mushrooms and chopped pepperoncini peppers, when should I add them?

  • :D

  • I am not cook, I usually struggle with cooking in general, but your video guided me and gave me some confidence to make a pretty delicious plate of spagetts.

Thank you Jack keep the videos coming and all the 'criticism' flying around the comments section just proves your doing something right ;D.

    Thanks again.

  • @squeezethecheeze good job. Thanks for the kind words.

  • @squeezethecheeze Any recipe video brings ridicule so screw it. I say, "Salt to taste" & keep sharing. :)

  • @Baumholder6961 First of all I am 100% Italian. So YOUR PEOPLE is also MY PEOPLE. Now as for your take on flavor not getting into the sauce, your absolutely wrong. In fact all the flavor is in the oil after browning. Then that goes into the sauce. Your way is not written in stone. Please don't act like your the now all. It insults OUR PEOPLE.

  • @jakatak69 lol thats funny how he didnt know u were italian that cracks me up, dont worry he probably isnt even italian and doesnt know how and what a TRUE spaghetti is

  • @Baumholder6961 you got slammed brotha

  • @Baumholder6961 Oh you got served! You got owned! Burned, ya little noob! The video uploader obliterated you into the pavement! You suck, little idiot! Somebody got a frownie face now, huh kid!

  • I don't like tomato and I can't find a pasta sauce recipe without it can you help me

    find one

  • @hughfitz32 try a white alfredo sauce for your pasta. The red sauces are just all tomato with seasoning.

  • good for stirring sauce and spanking kids... my mother's gonna buy 90 more of those

  • aww i sorta wish you sent out your best sauces individually cuz i really i want to give the hot bbq one a try but anyways i had never like made my sauce in the same pan i cook my sausage in. hat looks delicious.

  • i thought that the garlic was penut butter

  • I'm telling you...JUST FOR SOUP, nothing else...really. It's better than wasting, and it adds lots of flavor. And not every herb, but I put frozen parsley and dill in chicken soup and you would never know the difference...try it, you will like it as much as the poor little souls I'm cooking for

  • @nuke888 Why do fools say I hate to bash you or I hate to offend you, and do it anyway? :/ some people are so unhappy that they feel they must bring someone else down with them???

  • @ 1.25 "one single serving size" ? maybe for you ...

  • Thanks for your great instruction!! I impress my friends with "my" great spaghetti sauce. I can't believe that I actually once bought the stuff in a jar. Your recipie is absolutely fantastic --- only an hour of work for a gallon of the real stuff, just like grandma used to make!!

  • Don't use oregano, it makes everything taste like pizza!

  • DUDE I JUST ATE MAN YOUR GONNA MAKE ME FAT LOL >.> NOW I WANT THAT NOW

  • Thanks for the interesting and useful video.

  • ooooooooooooooooooooooooooh you are dirty girl!

  • awesome but too much oil and drain the fat from the sausage its what get the Biggs into the body! TIP :)

  • lol @ "some of the comments are brutal."

  • @virtualguitarist Oh well. Welcome to the real world. Unfortunately all walks of life comment on the show. I try to keep it civil without over censoring.

  • @jakatak69 Oh yea i agree with you. Keeping it real is the way to go. Keep up the good work, and keep them vids coming! :-)

  • @jakatak69 Hi, what is the pupose of the wine? Sorry, filipino here i know very little about western cooking.

  • @WASTELANDelf wine acts as an anti acid. Meaning that if it has wine in it, you usually can avoid heartburn and it gives good flavor. The alcohol cooks out so nothing to worry about for kids.

  • @lzieger1983 where in Europe are you from? My mom makes it this way and that's how she taught me and my brothers. Each sauce is completely different. Everyone uses different techniques. I totally respect your opinion if your used to other methods. How do you make your sauce?

  • you rOCK!

  • canned tomatoes are highly carcinogenic. Don't go near them, unless you don't value your life.

  • @mrzinwin aha, and that statement is based on what evidence and sources?

  • man, that does look good. i'll have to try it. is the sweet italian sausage your favorite to cook with and is there any other particular meat you think works well with this recipe??

  • @jestrrr101 I like sweet and hot italian sausage. I also like to do chicken in the sauce. Brown it just like you did the sausage. It gives it a whole new flavor.

  • @jakatak69 How long can I simmer the sauce? I have found that the longer the sauce simmers the better it taste. Do you agree?

  • @Onmetube simmer as long as you want. Stop simmering when it reaches the thickness you like. Yes. The flavors have more time to gel together.

  • hey jakatak just a quick tip when you cook ur pasta after you drain it drizzle some olive oil on it so that when u hold it for a while the pasta wont clump together in a big ball and also it makes the pasta more flavourful good video btw

  • can i replace the wine with something non alcoholic?

  • @delkhairio just leave it out. There is no really good substitute. The alcohol cooks out.

  • everything is canned ? you should call it canned sauce

and i dont to be all negative i just liked that amount of wine you've added

  • @waimoo92 Oh we can see you love the wine, just finished reading your comment. Oh and you do want to be all negative or you wouldn't have left the unnecessary comment. Go finish your wine and stop trying to type on here. huh???

  • @Babydoll416061 do you know something your so Pathetic yr hiding like a STINKY RAT in his hole behind yr computer opening a new youtube account and start typing some words on r comments as if jack hired you as a lawyer to him to judge our opinions

and for the wine it seems that you cant afford wine and maybe you cant afford yr daily need FOOD so to have some food you just put yr ass on a plate and eat your shit over and over and to think that your eating something tasty you just see this video

  • he even teach us how to eat XD

  • hmmmmmmm u make me hungry XD

  • hey,, any substitute for tomato puree and crushed tomato??

  • @ef827 Probably not because pasta sauce has to have tomatoes, that's the main ingredient.

  • @ef827 ROTFLMAO!!!

  • I'm 25...my Mom will still, pop me with a wooden spoon.

  • Spanking kids LOL

  • that is disgusting , all it is , is sauce in oil and sasuage greese with sasuage eww dude

  • "hey I didn't get like this on lettuce, yaknow"

    Awesome, Jack :)

  • at 3:45 id just eat that it looks soooo goood

  • im a kid im 11 so do i have to add wine?

  • @purplegrl30 skip the wine and it will be fine.

  • @jakatak69 dang what a poet

  • @jakatak69 Thanx Jack:)

  • @jakatak69 that ryhmed >.<

  • @jakatak69 Hey, that rhymed lol

  • @purplegrl30 u can add wine as long as you cook off the alcohol and ask your parents to help with that

  • @purplegrl30 The alcohol will boil off. You could also use dealcoholized wine.

  • @ultrastupido Where can u get the dealcoholized wine?

  • @purplegrl30 Usually you can find it at any Safeway. You live in the US and I live in Canada, so it could be different there, but you should find something along those lines.

  • @purplegrl30 You can buy cooking wine, in the grocery store; just ask a worker where it is. But I don't know how it will taste in pasta sauce. I only cook with wine that I would drink.

  • @purplegrl30 No no kid, they are making fun of you by now... You have been answered a few times already. THE ALCOHOL WILL COOK OFF. YOU REALLY DON'T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT IT YOU CAN'T BUY THE WINE ANYWAYS! GO ASK YOUR MOTHER!!!

  • @purplegrl30 drink wine trip balls

  • @purplegrl30 if your mother will eat some

  • @purplegrl30 Hahah! You can still add the wine, it's not like having a drink it's just for seasoning.

  • @purplegrl30 I guess you could .. all i know that the alcohol vaporize with the heat .

  • @purplegrl30 LMFAO :D

  • @purplegrl30

The alcohol will evaporate from the wine, so it's no problem to add it!

  • @purplegrl30 you add it

  • @purplegrl30 it will be burnt and wownt affect on you :)

  • @purplegrl30 you can do it with out wine

  • Just remove the casings of the sausages and cut into bitesize bits after they're cooked.

  • im a vegetarian can i use vegetables instead of meat

  • @StonedBoo saute onions and mushrooms.

  • @jakatak69 thanks

  • @StonedBoo -No...its totally impossible!

  • @patrictheking Jack just told me to saute onions and mushrooms

  • @emtildeath Americans love Italian food and it is everywhere here.

  • "Hey, I didn't get this big on lettuce, you know?" Food is TOO delicious!

  • "...and good for spanking kids." LOL! You're such a comedian. :-)

  • love your passion and i dont mean to sound rude but american cooking (especially Italian) IS SO LAZY!!!!!!! powders, gimmicks, rapidly...wheres the fresh herbs? wheres the quality wine, meat and cheese? if you make some minor adjustments your dishes will improve ten fold!

  • @mikedelpiero9 Your absolutely right. I have to keep something in mind. Fresh herbs go to waste. You always throw them out and that is wasted money. You never use them all. So the dried herbs are just as good especially since people are in a rush to cook and they are always on hand. The reason why people don't do recipes from TV is that they don't have 1/2 of what the guy is using in the cupboard.

  • @jakatak69 i disagree....its not a huge hassle to grab fresh ingredients from the market when your making your "specialty" dishes...and you can always freeze them and use them next time. frozen herbs, cheese, meats > dried herbs, processed cheese and mediocre quality meats anyday and its not THAT much of a monetary difference.

  • @mikedelpiero9 Are you serious? you can freeze herbs? doesn't it destroy the herb and break down?

  • @jakatak69 yeah, you can't really freeze anything that has water in it, such as leafy vegetables or herbs. I think this guy is just trolling on America.

  • @DragnSly not true, I try to use only fresh herbs, but I hate wasting. So, If I have left over herbs and I'm not going to use them, I freeze them, and then only use them for soups and it's still better than dried herbs

  • @whatrosebud REALLY? YUK!!! The poor ones you are cooking for have no idea!

  • @Babydoll416061 can you just suck some cum and shut up motherfucker

  • @DragnSly He is just commenting to be commenting. LMAO!

  • @jakatak69 ROTFLMAO!!! Dying here! Dying!!! Too funny! Hahaha! mikedelpiero9 has no idea what he OR she is talking about! Thanks for the laughs!!!

  • @Babydoll416061 dont' worry about it. He's entitled to his opinion. It's cool.

  • if we live outside USA we have to pay for the shipping or doesnt u sell out of USA?

  • @syNix1337 we tried shipping internationally but the packages always got busted open. So we don't do that anymore. Sorry.

  • it isn't Italian food, i have never seen a kind like this. The basic spaghetti are only pasta, passato di pomodoro ,basilico e formaggio grattuggiato. OK about wine in the meat but better is vermouth ( white or red ), or Marsala wine .

  • i love angel hair

  • Is there anything I can substitute the wine with? I don't cook with Alcohol. Thanks a bunch :)

  • @Lynnphotos84 just leave it out. it will be fine. Alcohol cooks out so you can't get drunk off it.

  • i dont like pasta but omg does it look good the way you make it =] thanx

  • Food porn

  • i like to cut the sausage long ways and short ways also, it gets the inside better plus it makes nice bite sized pieces and makes it seem like more meat is through out the whole sauce

  • Eeeew!

  • I am putting deer meat in with mine...would I do anything differently?

  • @christang07 make sure you don't over cook the deer meat. some meats get tough when cooked too long. Maybe brown the meat then simmer the rest of the way in the sauce.

  • I am going to use deer meat...would I don anything different?

  • You really should have used Minced beef and fresh onion and garlic. The extra effort is worth it.

  • nice presentation and very informative.

    thanks

  • Jack, i like your recipe but my kids say the sauce tastes alittle sweet. I am using a pound of ground beef instead of sausage.. any advice ???

  • @sjpike23 yes. use a little more burgundy or merlot in with the meat after browning, but before adding puree and crushed tomatoes. let the meat simmer in the wine and cook in the wine. This also removes the alcohol.

Another thing you can do is add red pepper flakes for heat. Give it a little kick and that balances any sweetness they might taste.

Another thing that also works is changing the meat to chicken. Chicken adds a whole other flavor profile. Very good. I promise.

  • @sjpike23 it's weird that they say it's sweet. We don't add sugar to the sauce. Another suggestion is season a little heavier. Those seasonings need to kick in and be the main flavor of the sauce.

  • Jack, I love this recipe because its easy. My kids keep complaining that the sauce taste sweet... any advice ???

  • we use mince instead of sausages

  • @cccchhhhable Pork mince is the best! - comment.

  • @leaper1950 hmmm i'll give it a try next time i have some spaghetti but i use beef mince

  • @cccchhhhable My son is a food technition and showed me this one a few years ago. I was making bolognaise sauce with beef and he said "you have got it all wrong" Use only pork mince or a blend of 50/50 pork and beef.

Give it a try and just use the normal other stuff - garlic, oregano, onion, tomato paste

and tomato pulp - you will really notice a differency with the pork.

  • what else can i use to replace the wine?

  • @WreckeDp0seid0n PORT!

  • @WreckeDp0seid0n just leave it out. Remember that alcohol cooks off so there is no alcohol by the time you serve the meal. it evaporates from the heat.

  • This guy is awesome! I love his style.

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent vid---helpful, good quality and great personality!

  • why meat ?

  • can you do a video on how to make meatballs? please

  • @JumpstyleJordan go watch my hamburgers and meatloaf video. That is also how I make meatballs. I just don't use the BBQ sauce.

  • @jakatak69 ok thank you :)

  • cant wait to try it.

    loved the video

  • heya jack. i would like to make this sauce to the lazy man's lazagna, but i got a vegetarian sister, so you recomendo go buy a can of sauce or do you got any advice to make it without the meat?

    Angelo ;D

  • @XTheXDrumerX mix the same stuff without meat. Just simmer until the seasonings meld into the sauce. You should taste it and it should still be great.
