  • Thanks for the vid helped me troubleshoot my speakers in my car.

  • Thanks for the Video. I just bought a 07' Impala and the right passenger speaker is either unplugged/loose or broke and i would've never guessed it was that complicated to get the door panel off. This video is going to save me so much time.

  • you know i think it's stupid the speaker cover doesn't just pop off...all i need to do is plug in my speaker, i'm pretty sure the connections in the back are loose. it's a pain in the butt to go thru all that just to do what i need to do.

  • @tspanier2 The harder it is to do the funner it is to do. See that's the problem though. They purposely try to make it hard to do because they don't want you to do it yourself. They want you to have to go to the dealer to get it done.

  • This was very professionally done.it walked me thru the whole process thanks.keep them coming.

  • Cool this was very helpful thanks alot

  • This is helpful, thanks alot. I now know how to change my speakers

  • Thanks! I just replaced a door speaker in my 2007 Impala and your video was invaluable! Saved a bundle over what it would have cost at a dealership.

  • Thanks man, great vid!

  • Thanks a lot. It took a little while but I was able to install the passenger side mirror myself. Kudos to you and your service to your fellow man.

  • Thanks a lot great video!

  • Thanks for the great video. It helped me out.

  • I started to remove the rear door panel on my 2008 Impala and stopped everything when it came time to pop off the panel. From experience, I knew that plastic pop rivets held it in place, but I was reluctant to apply the necessary pressure and break something. I stopped what I was doing and decided to go on-line for assistance. Thank you for giving me what was needed to return and complete the job!

  • I know you said that you were replacing the speaker with a new OEM one, but will an aftermarket speaker fit in the that black thing the OEM speaker is in? Like is the speaker mounted to the black thing with screws?

  • @KamikazeSOF2 Sadly the speaker is not mounted in the black thing with screws. The speaker is molded into the black thing. It's made in such of a way that you could say black thing is what makes the speaker.

  • Awesome video man...I just had to replace the side view mirror on my 06 Impala and this video was damn near perfect. Couple differences/suggestions

-Screw behind reflector is not a hex so you'll need a socket

-Was unclear what to do once all screws/fixtures were removed to actually get the panel off (aside from wrap my screw driver in cloth and push inwards)...there are about 10 or so rivets that you just need to pry against and they will pop right out...

<1 hour from beginning to end

  • @VTBalla34 Thanks, This is why I like the feedback because now the things I missed in the video are now covered in the comments to help others.

  • Very helpful video. Just makes me realize how annoying it is to replace a sideview mirror :)

  • did u have to buy an adapter for the aftermarket spakers

  • @Whips92 I put a new OEM speaker in it so the adapters obviously matched. Normally when I do put after-market speakers in a car I just solder the wires together and skip the adapters all together.

  • Thanks man! I'm replacing my speakers in my 07 impala this summer and this video helps out a ton! Now I know where all the screws are :)

  • @Doyle2k5 Awesome, I'm happy to hear so many good responses to this video.

  • @Doyle2k5 i have a 06 impala do u know what size are the rear speakers

  • @GOTCHAJESSE the rear ones on mine are 6x9" and the front are 6.5"

  • great video tutorial please continue to do the good work. keep it up was able to remove a panel with ease thanks to you

  • That was great! Thank you.

  • I had to remove my door panel on my 06 because a bolt for the outside door handle had come loose and this was a very handy video to watch. Thank you very much for helping me fix my door!
