@stclairose I'm very sorry that you're depressed. :(
Hopefully your materialistic, atheist views will give you inspiration and comfort. You understand that sadness is a condition of the brain, an electro-chemical process, a machine that has malfunctioned and needs repair.
You must be strong, however difficult that may be - depression is a difficult, potentially deadly, illness (been there myself). I hope you get it treated promptly and with success, and that soon it becomes just a bad memory.
this is a powerful video. thank you for making it. you are a very pretty and very smart person. very thoughtful as well. i would also risk saying interesting. girls like you are not easy to find. it saddens me to know this is how you feel. i have seen very good results with people who got involved in cat/dog rescue, when innocent, helpless little creatures depend on you, you forget about yourself. i know i have. since i have been working with rescue, i have not had time to think about myself.
@brownbigb also, you learn amazing things from them. the ability to let go of unimaginable suffering, and move forward and love others and be available to accept love, regardless of the past. it amazes me how they can be happy after what they go through, yet they live in the now, and relinquish the past. they made me realize it is possible, even for us. i hope you find happiness, i really do. when you do, you will make someone really lucky. forget about the idiots commenting. they don't get it.
If anyone EVER needs to talk, just send me a message. No matter what the problem is, I'll try my best to help. You never know, you may just need to tell someone.
@SilentSlumber3 women scientifically deal with stress better than men. men store it away. i fly as a areo med for the Air Force. everyone has a braking point. it just matters about were it is. when you reach your braking point you can do stupid things. men usually have a braking point that can take more than women.
I go through a lot of depression too. Mostly because of the hypocrisy of adulthood, the way people in our society act and think, how impossible it is to revise the corporate fascist state we are in, how 10% of people are compassionate and the others have been brainwashed or taught to be inconsiderate or intolerant of social and moral changes. I think about shit like that all the time, but in the end, I just drown in video games or anime and forget about it. Try it, it could work for you :)
I know it probably doesn't help now, but things do get better, and will get better. I've been through pretty tough and bleak times in the past couple of years but things have improved. I honestly suggest maybe having a change of scene (if you can) I have found travelling and meeting new people to be a good way to push depression back. I think if it became something more people talked about it might help everyone, thanks for not letting it be swept under the rug.

I hope you feel better, you seem so nice. Here is some twisted logic. Guys are driven to have sex, it consumes most of our thoughts, we're just inteligent monkeys. There are species of monkeys where females must submit their bodies constantly to dominate males. What that guy did to you is not right, however, you must remember you're just a collection of cells and cannot be hurt unless you want to. With that being said, I could kill the guy for you for a cost.
I look sad. I have no close friends. My parents love me, but i couldn't appreciate their love. I never went to parties. I never went on a date. I have a 2.0? (here in germany it's 3,1) I must be happy... The truth? I was depressed. I was deliberately hurting myself. I had homocide thoughts, 10 years long (i'm 21 btw) I hated myself I fear rejection and am still isolating myself and crave perfection. I wouldn't enjoy my life any single time. Yeah. I know that.
@Raskolnikhov I'm aware of what my twitter updates are. Do you think I really sit around and broadcast my depressive and suicidal thoughts all the time? I don't know if you know much about mental illness but it doesn't inhibit people from thinking and doing other things. Maybe you should educate yourself on the matter.
@stclairose I spent a week in a hospital's mental ward. I know enough about mental illness. My point is that if you were serious about feeling better you wouldn't be spending energy worrying about your physical appearance. Honestly, how much of your self-esteem is tied up to the size of your breasts? Fuck off with your McDepression.
@Raskolnikhov I've been raped, I've been seriously abused, I've nearly committed suicide and been admitted to the hospital, I've gone through therapy and been on medication. Just because I'm not throwing that information out there and make jokes (yes, it was a joke, and you clearly didn't get the context) doesn't mean anything. And for the record, I am completely satisfied with the size of my breasts (again, you were missing a total context). Fuck off my channel.
@stclairose yawn. I've heard it before from girls who are actually just attention whores IRL. The very fact that you are able to make a cutesy little video like this and get sympathy shows you're not in the dumps. My life is worse than yours, objectively, but I don't seek sympathy like this. Go die.
@Raskolnikhov Are you fucking kidding me?! YOU are the reason that people DO kill themselves, your insensitivity and rudeness. I'm sorry that you get your kicks out of insulting people on the internet, but don't be so naive as to think that 1. this is a "cutesy little video," 2. seeking sympathy shows someone is "not in the dumps," and 3. that you're not part of the damn problem. Thanks for contributing to the stigma and not having a heart.
@stclairose Men need more help. Male suicide rate is at least 4 times higher than female suicide rate. After break-ups and divorce, it's 10 times higher. Vast majority of resources of suicide victim help organizations are devoted to helping women instead. Please help spread awareness.
@Raskolnikhov And for the damn record, many people who are serious about getting better, feeling better, etc. DO spend time worrying about their physical appearance and a multitude of other things simply because that's how they are. Don't knock something just because it's not what you do.
@stclairose With regards to what @Raskolnikhov said, while he was a complete prick about it, you need to understand that the stresses men face are far worse than womens objectively. However, it is relative due to the fact that women cannot cope with stress as well. Men get sent to war and down coal mines and keep a straight face while women get stressed about sticking a DVD in for the kid.
@SilentSlumber3 What about the men who don't go to war or don't get sent down coal mines? What do they get stressed about? And what about the women who go to war? What the fuck are you talking about "objectively". What a load of over-generalised bollocks.
@SilentSlumber3 You can't generalize it like that. Every individual person, regardless of sex, experiences all kinds of different stressful situations. As a woman, I'm currently stressed out about the fact that I can't find a job, my mom has a potentially deadly virus, and I was attacked by a stranger on Christmas. My friend is stressed about the fact she just had a miscarriage. You really think household duties are the only things women have to deal with? HUMANS have to deal with a lot of sh*t.
@TaysieGraves Dont feel to bad about the job part. There's a ton who cant find one. What helps tho, make sure your resume is up to date, get a cover letter, even for a MCdonalds type job. Doing community service helps to accent or make up skills to have you sound better. What ever state your in you probably has an unemployment office that offers different services. If you go into an interview Do Not Ever sell your self short. Make them think your qualified and the best.
@Melexonitrate Thanks for the advice. Community service sounds good to me. It would also help show possible employers that being jobless doesn't mean I'm a lazy bum.
@TaysieGraves a lot of people don't realize that stress is self imposed. any situation can create stress, to some crossing the street is unbearable. but ultimately we decide if and how we let each situation effect us. you shouldn't stress as a woman, rather as a person. but stressing does not help anything. if it is something that is not in your control, stressing will hurt you, but will not effect the situation. if it is in your control, resolving/dealing with it is what's needed.
@TaysieGraves cont. it took me a long time to realize this, i had severe problems with fight or flight, anger, depression. realizing to let go if something is out of my control, and act if i am able to control it, changed my life. literally i became free. i learned from dealing with animal rescue, but i have been stress free. i do experience hardship, that is external, but no stress, i simply don't allow it to get in. eating healthy and exercising also help greatly. good luck.
@brownbigb Thank you. I finally got a job :) It's stressful, but it's a stress I'm thankful for lol. I'd love to do animal rescue. I feel like that's my calling. Congrats on becoming free and good luck with future goodness.
I think this hits on a very important note. It's important that people feel comfortable talking about their issues without being ostracized- having someone to open up to is often one of the most powerful tools to help us on the road to solving our problems.
I wish you the best of luck with everything. Keep the videos coming- I enjoy the effect they have on me.
What a great video only here because of the Atheist link, very moving music never heard it before very depressing won't listen to that again. Keep smiling, would you like a coffee XD
I've been working with a few people from reddit on their depression lately. I've battled it successfully (more or less) for 16 years, and I'd love to work with you, as well. Send me a private message if you'd like to chat. I'm not a mental health professional, but I can share my own experiences and coping mechanisms with you.
makes me so sad to hear, wish i could just tell you to fucking stop, but its not that easy is it now.. dont know if telling you that youre not alone helps either, cuz you are not yknow!, when im way down, knowing that other ppl are too, makes me feel even worse :*(
