Blacks ops combat record was perfect, it was INGAME and it was nice and simple, and u could see ur friends stats too no problem. And the whole age thing with elite is a joke. In australia the game is rated MA 15+, but the competitions they said we could enter have an 18yo restriction on it! Im 17 btw.
i preordered BF3 on PC from Origin. it cost £40 and came with the Physical Warfare weapon pack on release and the Back To Karkand map/weapon/vehicle pack to unlock automatically when released.
£40 is how much i paid for MW3 on PS3 with no extras and less than it would cost to get BF3 and the DLC separately.
DICE have already released 4 or 5 MAJOR balance and server patches in BF3, Infinity Ward have debuffed the ExtMags Striker very slightly...

Elite is bull poop! I agree with all you said but what you didnt mention was how all of us PS3 Elite members have almost no reason to have ever bought Elite now. The game is too broken and unplayable for me to justify any further money spent on it period, if it worked maybe. COD has always been more of sidebar game for me anyway, but with its unplayability and Activision's horrible stewardship I'm done with the series for good.

What is ordinary is having PAID for DLC on PS3 and not having it when it is released. This was fine in the past as Ithe XBOX users could pay and have it early, however with the introduction of Elite with upfont payment the old system needs review. Seems like Activision is happy to take Microsofts money at the expense of the paying PS3 user.

I don't think Activision really never cared about us gamers. All they want is money so they have a chance to compete with other major game publishers like EA and Sony. Hell they got rid of Guitar Hero because the last sells weren't good enough to what they expected. Hell maybe if they said to the developers, "Oh hey go ahead and take some time to make the game better" They would actually get the same amount of profit, while publishing games that people wouldn't get bored within 3 - 4 months..
They're just coming out with map packs just as they have Im the past. The only difference this time is with this service u will get them earlier and at small doses at a time. But the maps have always been releases multiple at a time and with a old map from a previous cod. So I can understand why they did it like that. And of course if u bought the prem elite then you get it ahead of those who didnt..except on 360 first .

No, its not screwing the regular Call of Duty Community at all. If you think about it before all of the Elite stuff you got the first maps in April anyways. The only difference now is that you can choose to pay up front and get the maps for cheaper and you get them sooner or you can choose to pay normally and get the maps when you normally would anyways!
One of the reason why I laugh at my friends for getting it. They bought it and there not happy they have to wait for it. For the non PS3 users by the time you get the first dlc 360 just about to push out their second and the I don't understand is for the last dlc for non elite users by the time that rolled out black ops 2 will be released. I just hope COD isn't embedded with Black Ops 2 if so I'll just stop buying their games all together.

Elite is bull poop! I agree with all you said but what you didnt mention was how all of us PS3 Elite members have almost no reason to have ever bought Elite now. I thought at first 'Oh well if I buy Elite it means I can get all of the map packs at the same time as my xBox friends' and then I heard that we still have to wait a month. After the close to nothing benefits of the website the packs were my last hope towards activision but now I'm never using it again

What is ordinary is having PAID for DLC on PS3 and not having it when it is released. This was fine in the past as Ithe XBOX users could pay and have it early, however with the introduction of Elite with upfont payment the old system needs review. Seems like Activision is happy to take Microsofts money at the expense of the paying PS3 user.

I don't think Activision really never cared about us gamers. All they want is money so they have a chance to compete with other major game publishers like EA and Sony. Hell they got rid of Guitar Hero because the last sells weren't good enough to what they expected. Hell maybe if they said to the developers, "Oh hey go ahead and take some time to make the game better" They would actually get the same amount of profit, while publishing games that people wouldn't get bored within 3 - 4 months..

They're just coming out with map packs just as they have Im the past. The only difference this time is with this service u will get them earlier and at small doses at a time. But the maps have always been releases multiple at a time and with a old map from a previous cod. So I can understand why they did it like that. And of course if u bought the prem elite then you get it ahead of those who didnt..except on 360 first .

No, its not screwing the regular Call of Duty Community at all. If you think about it before all of the Elite stuff you got the first maps in April anyways. The only difference now is that you can choose to pay up front and get the maps for cheaper and you get them sooner or you can choose to pay normally and get the maps when you normally would anyways!

One of the reason why I laugh at my friends for getting it. They bought it and there not happy they have to wait for it. For the non PS3 users by the time you get the first dlc 360 just about to push out their second and the I don't understand is for the last dlc for non elite users by the time that rolled out black ops 2 will be released. I just hope COD isn't embedded with Black Ops 2 if so I'll just stop buying their games all together.
