Been watching all these videos and the things that you repeat don't really bother me at all. Not sure why "demonickalfun" seems to think he/she is going insane. Personal Problems? meh
I do find it hilarious at how many comments there are saying things like, "wow d00d ur lvl 7 u rnt vry str0ng or gud at this gaem, my guys are so strng, ur dead meat"
@s9840254c Enemies level up with you! And the junctions create incredible stat boosts! This is probably the easiest way to play through this game. Defeats all previous RPG logic, but that's FF8.
You don't need to be Level (X) to go through the game successfully. All you need is a high level GF with good abilities, like Ifrit's strenght +10%,20%, etc., because enemies in the game also level up as you level up, but have higher stat increase. So, actually, enemies get harder to beat if you over-beef your characters with exp.
Yes, but does the game increase difficulty based on the "GF/Party level" or solely the party/main/Squall's level? I always assumed the former, since there seems to be no logic relating the GF and party level to enemy level. But I'm about to enter Dolelt and I don't want to reset just cause I maxed GFs with Seifer.
Siren at level 100 on PSX? Not true!! If you go to the Esthar Mountains you can fight Forbiddens for confuse swrods which refine to curse spikes which refine to a Darkmatter.
I found your video insightful and you were very thorough but I have to say that every time you said "so... yeah" and "and....yeah" I became a little less interested. By the time the Let's Play hit the seven minute mark, I thought I was going to go insane. Other than that one criticism I thought you did rather well.
you need to do it with another temporary party member that joins you shortly...essentially you're doing the same thing as was done when Seifer was in the party during the Dollet Mission, and grinding the extra 100pts toward your SeeD rank: Put Siren (and Diablos) on the two members you kill off, the rest on said temporary character, and grind away.
in ff8 if u dont level up its really not a problem bc u got the GF abilities u can put like HP+80 HP+40 and STR+60 and ur good to go ur HP should be around the 8000 +magic junctioning..ff9 without leveling is pretty hard..
A much less time consuming way to get Cursed Spikes is to Mug them from the Tri-Face in the Deep Sea Research Center... Although i'm not sure if that works for the PC ver and at a low level... I'm always high level when I get there :/
The process for getting 100 Curse Spikes is quicker with the Tri-Faces themselves, but playing cards with that guy in Dollet allow you to get them sooner.

@Momentum139 Enemy levels are strictly based on your _active_ party's levels.

@hihosh1 And you can't refine them into the dark matter unless Siren is level 100.
