I'd really like to see more videos of such kind. If you may could you please make some videos of Edexcel IGCSE chapter's such as Development of Dictatorship in Italy 1918 - 1943. It'll be extremely helpful just like all these other vdeos of yours.
Rather than pouring thru the equivalent of an encyclopedia worth of information to explain Hitler's rise, this video does an excellent job of summarizing the key points in just 3:40. Thank you for posting this!
although the pictures may not be historically over accurate i believe as a GCSE student that this video has helped me imensly and that regardless of pictures it's amazing. Things like the south park picture help keep me interested whilst being told this information and although not directly relevent i think that the pictures help you understand the events/conditions in relation to what is being said!
Looks like we're made of different stuff as regards the reception of the images. I find them highly distracting. They keep you wondering: "What the hell has Southpark/that energy drink got to do with the 3rd Reich?"
Apart from that: if you're not interested, don't blame the subject! If history has to be dressed up like a stupid MTV clip in order to keep you interested, there's surely something wrong.
Obviously there isn't anything wrong considering i've just done my mock GCSE's and gained a high A so it's clear this video has helped. It differs from person to person obviously because although they may be considered distracting i think it adds to the videos content and you dont have to watch it you can just listen if you find the images annoying.
Thanks a lot for this video - incredibly, this question came up in the exam on June 3rd! I'm sure I wouldn't have been as confident answering the question without your slideshow, so thanks! :D
This video is stupidly helpful :P
The fact you talk through it, instead of just some music playing really helps drill it in, and you can just listen to it in the background :P
Thank you! ! :L

The picture at 2:18 shows EAST GERMAN soldiers and police. Probably from 1960, catching a person trying to escape to West Germany.
