I agee with sakred, please don't make generalizations about Indians. I was born/raised in New York and I am very much into my Indian culture. I train in both Bharatanatyam & Kathak and consider myself a true Hindu devotee. I am so happy to see Indian culture has traveled around the world, but I don't generalize my people. There are plenty of Indians who are preserving Indian culture, maybe you haven't met them yet.
