well if you paid attention to any of the evidence led at the inquest or revealed through the British and French investigations and Martyn Gregory's journalism, you would find that the only person with an "obvious agenda" as you put it was Mohammed Fayed in trying to cover up his responsibility for the shambles that led to the crash.

I do agree the drunken driver was a cause of the accident as he should not have been driving drunk. But I also think the other blame goes to the paparazzis that were chasing them. The pictures were absolutely not important enough so they would keep chasing the car that fast, they should have left her alone and perhaps the driver wouldn't have got it in his head to go that fast if he wasn't being chased. And those heartless paparazzi took pictures after she was gravely injured. I blame them too.
