@PSPPengy If I was directing this mod I would focus less on blood and poor models and really focus on detail within the environments. This mod just looks terrible.

2. use darkness too much

3. Overemphasis on character models face and they all look like they were from Mass Effect

The models are a lot different than the origionals,true,and they don't really fit perfectly,but it is a mod after all and they are an optional feature of the mod.You can use the origionals and just go with the texture,lighting and atmospheric tweaks.Having said that,this is a free mod,and it alters much more than just the models,so I'm definitely gonna play it anyway.Just as soon as it finishes downloading that is...6.91 gb Sheesh.....Great work Facefactory.

@UnknownThomasFan30 But, for me, and most HL2 players, new models, weapons, music and gameplay changes (like night in Highway 17 in CM10) don't fit. Fortunately, in CM11, you can turn them all off! CM11 is epic, 100x better than CM10. When you turn off those things, it's exactly how Valve would make HL2 in 2012.

The files alone won't do much. You need every single file. Once you click the first one, it will go through all and open the content. There you will find a setup, which can install the mod. Only that setup can install it correctly, and it will take a while, since the mod is over 20GB big. Also, really make sure that you got every needed archive of files, or else it won't work.

Pretty much, that is how it always was. With all previous versions, the installation notes always said : Let the setup handle the installation. But don't forget, even though it's obvious, the setup won't do much without the entire mod. But if you downloaded the whole thing, just run the setup and follow the instructions.
