  • These guys KICK ASS!!!

  • The band, comprised of frontman Lajon Witherspoon, John Connolly (guitar), Clint Lowery (guitar), Vince Hornsby (bass), and Morgan Rose (drums), first appeared in 1995 as Crawlspace, releasing the single "My Ruin" on the Mortal Kombat: More Kombat recording. Shortly thereafter, the group changed its name to Sevendust and released a self-titled debut in 1997.

  • The Atlanta-based quintet Sevendust became one of the rising acts in late-'90s heavy metal with an aggressive blend of bottom-heavy riffs and soulful, accessible melodies.

  • awsum daughtry and witherspoon

  • i love this song

  • OMG! I haven't heard this song in FOREVER! I loved it! How could I have lost track of it?!

  • Yes @ 1965Mustang...you can google Tracys interview and she talks about it....

  • Comment removed

  • i hate casey anthony but love this song

  • @jlawson540 I just think Daughtry has a better voice.

  • yet again people express there ignorance, no such thing as a bad song or singer really to each their own

  • Such a good song.. I'm sure there are murders out there who prolly listen to country music lol.. so yea to judge the type of music is dumb..

  • Gatdamn would people stop talking about Casey Anthony please!!!!!!!!! i mean it isnt like sevendust fuckin killed caylee with casey then wrote this song with her

  • Casey Anthony's fav song..lol

  • I read these comments while taking a shit. So I think you're all full of it. I'm sure a serial killer listened to Nickelback at some time or another. It doesn't mean Chad Kroeger has ever written a killer tune. The only link between music artist and the types who listen to it are Jay Z and the Illuminati.

  • awesome song and daughtry should do more songs like this

  • Damn, stop dragging Casey Anthony into this shit. You people are turning a song into a negative one with all of this bullshit! Half of you have no clue what this song is about - all you know is that Casey Anthony listened to it. The song was written as a song of hope and with have positive message to look back on your life and reflect and to feel good about getting through the rough times that everyone goes through, the roller coaster of life so to speak.

  • @NoliaGirl1975 EXACTLY!!!

  • "I PRAY IT DOESN'T SCREAM MY NAME" WTF??!! Casey was Hoping NOT to get Caught, This B*tch was Pure EVIL from the START in DISGUISE! She got away with Murder, but Karma's a BIGGER B*tch & comes back 10 Fold. Good Luck looking over your shoulder for the rest of your Life Casey! 98% of ppl HATE you & can NEVER forget that Stone pale face you have. R.I.P Caylee Marie who died in Vain.

  • @lady5563 that is what i was thinking too.

  • I wonder how this band feels knowing this song Casey Anthony listened to over and over again before Caylee's remains were found

  • @lady5563 Who gives a shit? statement reminds of people saying shit about that asian kid who listened to Collectiv Soul before he gunned down those students at the university, or the Columbine kids who listened to Marylin Manson, music is interpreted in millions of different ways from everyone that's what makes it great. Knowing that some bitch with mental problems listened to this song after killing her very own child doesn't downgrade the song or make bands feel bad about writing it.

  • A crappy, generic song for a crappy, generic Casey Anthony. Never trust anyone who doesn't have good taste in music.

  • @8angst8 fuck casey anthony and fuck you for judging a band because one little bitch listens to it

  • This is the song Casey Anthony listened to over and over when Tracey that worked for Leonard Padilla lived with Casey for 9 days...spooky..

  • @gentlethunder777 are you serious???

  • @gentlethunder777 thats what made me listen to this song... i dont really listen to this kinda music, but i like it.

  • I hate to say this but Leonard padea, bounty hunter's assistant, said Casey Anthony played this song quite a bit while she was supervising her...something about beneath the water......wierd hey...is that what it says?

  • 2 awesome vocalist on here they should do more songs together im really feeling this one

  • two of the best voices ever, period. so needless to say, this song is epic!

  • Sevendust shits better music than Beiber. This band's every song is so fuckin epic and beautiful!

  • @NoP1Ty4aC0WaRd yea and it also makes it better wit daughtry idont get how he didnt win american idol!!!!! like this if yall think this is the best song everrrrrr!!!!!

  • Not bad.Now I see why Fuel tried to recruit Chris Daughtry as their new lead singer.Niceee.

  • Favorite Band, fuck everyone else.

  • awsome song!!what a great voice they got!!

  • @RabidCubes The reason it isn't is yes Chris does a large chunk of the vocals but the music content was written by Sevendust not Chris therefore being their song.

  • @RabidCubes they both sing about the same amount of lyrics and sevendust wrote the song so why should it be the other way around that makes no sence!?!

  • I wish Sevendust would do more singles like this. When I heard "Angel's Son" in concert it was the most powerful piece I've ever heard, so much emotion

  • And once again Sevendust shows, how to make an emotional song, but it still has the power, even if it's a sad song. That's why i listen to sevendust!

  • i love this song, Chris Daughtry fits on this kind of music.

  • @JamesDogg92 and it shows ya how two different bands/artists get along with each other.

just take a look at good charlotte feat. avenged sevenfold

  • Lajon Witherspoon is very underrated, having been to their live shows many times he is definitely one of the top vocalists out there. Sevendust one of the best live bands for sure.

  • @Cablehero so that's his name, huh?

nice name. i hardly know any band members' names.

  • amazing....you are dumb if you don't like this

  • great voices,sevendust rulez...

  • i need to get off my ass and see them again. saw them with Staind in 03 and they KICKED ass LJ is the fucking man

  • Absolutely amazing .. so full of passion and power - what a track!

  • Hey Kaia.. Living Colour.... 'nough said.

    Sevendust rocks. Daughtry is amazing.

    Rock on.

  • Ever since ATV Offroad fury I got stuck on Sevenedust. Such a badass band

  • Daughtry, lol

  • @nagashodow don't even... -.-

  • i LOVE sevendust....next to disturbed

  • i love chris

  • sevendust is my all time favorite band, much love from the navajo rez!!!!

  • Great music. I get irritated by the pacifist's in the comments though.

  • I never thought I could connect so much to a song until I experienced something devistating while listening to it. :'( It's a beautiful song. I miss my love and hope he comes back soon. <3

  • i get chills in my head everytime i hear this song... two perfectly matching voices!! Chris and Lajon are my idols :D

  • @extremities9

Indeed, these guys have some power behind their voices without overpowering one another. Plus both have rather unique voices that complement each other well.

  • Daughtry sings this better than Sevendust! and it's Sevendust's song!!!

  • who is the lead singer on the picture. and where is Chris singing, is it in the chorus or what.

  • @rockandrollrules5 The lead singer is the guy in the middle and Chris Daughtry is singing the entire 2nd verse and the 2nd chorus and then they both sing the bridge and end of the song.

  • perfect........

  • @JamesDogg92 agreed, id take any one of sevendusts songs versus the shit nickelback has been putting out with any day, yet sevendust gets no playtime on any rock stations its bull crap..

  • SevenDust, You Are the Best!!!

  • kais615 u racist fuck. That's horrible he's just the same as u, u twat just coz he's black makes him no different. In fact he's probably a better person than u will ever be so how bout u fuck off and drown slowly in ur sorrow. Dude seriously GROW THE FUCK UP!!!! it's not the 1800's any more and wot happened then shoulda never happened.

  • @Kais615 Me: Oh look.. another proclaimed smartass that can't spell "intelligent" It's one thing to hate people because they are darker than you.. it's another to hate them and actually be a dumbass about it..This is not an insult.. this is fact.. you are a dumbass racist and your dad isn't any better..it's a fucking skin color.. get..over... it.. and take some spelling classes before you insult.

  • @Kais615 really man, really?

  • @Kais615 uhm, that is not even right! there is not a thing wrong with black people! and that is just seriously uncalled for.. you are a really low down person to be like that..

anyways, AMAZING SONG! i love sevendust! <3 and daughtry. they make an amazing team.

  • @GirlzRule132 I wish there were more people like you, then this world would be a better place.

    Don't build walls, build bridges!

  • @Ioini haha, thank you. (:

    and i agree with that!

  • Sevendust is one of the best 90's bands ever!

  • @xxjbabexx yep

  • These two sound awesome together.

Daughtry's voice totally suits this kind of music.

    This song gives me chills.

  • Notable canción.

  • SEVENDUST

  • i absolutley love how his voice is in such a bond with the guitar solo backings.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • not bad

  • Sevendust rocks, end of story

  • Sevendust is amazing, and its only made even better when Daughtry sings with Sevendust!!!

  • Sevendust is truly the only band that has kept it real with there music & fans.

  • something that every fan of good music can relate too!

  • two great voices, in one song. amazing. i think daughtry and sevendust should do more duets in the future, id also like to see myles kennedy or brent smith on one of their songs. maybe even james hetfeild

  • myles kennedy is on one of their songs. "Sorrow" (from the same album)

  • @WweMetallica12 I hope I'm not seeming stupid with this comment, but they actually do have a song with Myles Kennedy.

  • This song has really helped me through feeling depressed recently. It's an awesome song. I can't say I'm really a Daughtry fan, but he really does sing in this song so amazingly. What I want to know is when will Howard Jones of Killswitch Engage do guest vocals with these guys? I'd really love to see that happen. :)

  • i saw sevendust saturday at scout bar in clearlake tx it was awesome no matter where you were in the bar you were always no more than 25 feet away from the stage incredible

  • this song is a awsome song :D

    one of my favorites

    sevendust=best damn band ever!!

  • Best song by Sevendust, by far that I've ever heard!

  • great song both great voices amen

  • what is wit everyone and daugtry???

the guy is apparently a really good singer ...

    u people confuse me ...

  • definitely not a chris daughtry fan...but this song is pretty good.. lajon for president.

  • chris seems to have a christian theme hidden in some of his songs. Crashed and Open Your Eyes are two examples. He seems to put at least one deep christian themed song on his albums. And if you look at his tats-definitely religious in some way.

  • Thats because he is a Christian. His band in high school was called Cadence. It was a Christian band. also in the liner notes of Daughtry's self titled album it said "Thanks to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the greatest example of love."

  • @clmco amen

  • amen

  • This song by sevendust featuring chirs daughtry is awesome. The band daughtry is good as well,I'm advising everyone to listen to their songs sometime.

TRUST ME YOU WON'T BE DISAPPPOINTED.

  • Im not a big Chris D fan, but this is really good. I have always loved Sevendust since they first came out. Killer tune!

  • This song sounds like it's pretty deep.
