Eek..Quad core isn't 8 CPU's! Its 4 cores, but a total of 8 threads. There is a difference, especially in a Intel CPU.

If the motherboard on your old pc died, the data should still be fine on the old hard drive...

@armagedo0 You're right. Except there's a problem with Minecraft. If your computer crashes while playing minecraft, the files on the world get messed up. I was playing on my world 1, and it crashed, so I lost all my game files. I wouldn't suggest trying this out for yourself :P

I'd like to see a Let's Play, but it would have to be different from all the others. I try to watch them but get bored of them quickly, they aren't very interesting. Also, I was wondering why you needed so much cactus. I can understand making the first huge cactus farm, to test our your ingenuity, but why a second one?

Dude, same thing happened to me last week. Mobo finally died and I lost my saves in minecraft. Only *slight benefit is that now the new biomes are implemented, newly generated worlds are much more interesting.

As for your let's play idea, I wouldn't mind seeing some of those, but don't feel pressured to upload them all the time. A few let's plays to give us an idea of how far you are progressing and to show how much work creating beautiful worlds actually takes.

Okay, thanks for the comment! I've always considered doing a Let's Play, but I don't want to become one of those other 1000 people with Let's Plays. I don't want to fill up subscriber boxes with videos no one wants to watch. So I'll try it out, see how people like it, and we'll go from there.

BTW, this video took my 6 minutes to upload. My old one would have taken over an hour. I'm loving this computer!
