Since when someone could be arrested for trespassing when in fact he or she is not even on school property? The object behind Florida's trespassing laws: Declare a public area a private area to make it easy for police to have an excuse to arrest anyone. Besides, since 9/11 law enforcement and private security has had an "us against them" attitude: Regard the public as the enemy.

I did some reading on this. All charges against the reporter were dropped. He had a permit to carry the gun. The unedtited video showed that the reporter never set foot on school grounds.

Since when someone could be arrested for trespassing when in fact he or she is not even on school property? The object behind Florida's trespassing laws: Declare a public area a private area to make it easy for police to have an excuse to arrest anyone. Besides, since 9/11 law enforcement and private security has had an "us against them" attitude: Regard the public as the enemy.
