Still not likely that he'll stop him, even if he gasses like last fight (which could well happen). Bisping is not at all known for knockout power, and Hendo has been hit by guys who hit WAY harder and still never stopped by strikes.

Silva did not look like shit in his last two fights. Boring? For some, maybe. But he easily defeated two strong fighters without so much as a scratch on himself, after a t total of eight rounds of fighting. Find me any other fighter (besides Machida) like that

Bisping is not better than Silva in any aspect of fighting. He would not be bigger or stronger, and his skill level is inferior in striking, BJJ, and wrestling. The way I see it, he'll lose the first and then win rounds 2 and 3. Hendo overrates himself as a striker, and he's not usually smart with his gameplans. Bisping is the younger, smarter, and hungrier fighter, and he's also not overlooking his opponent -- whereas I think Hendo is doing just that. So given what I mentioned earlier, I call Bisping for the upset 29-28 UD or quite possibly SD in a close fight. Look for Bisping to impress and Henderson to seem less dangerous than his reputation.

Hendo's ground 'n pound skills are not too lethal, and Bisping's defensive skills on the ground are underrated. He rarely gets hurt, even on his back (think of the Evans fight). Plus, he's excellent at getting back to his feet. Hendo will probably get some takedowns (esp. early on), but Bisping will not be held down for three rounds or even for most of any round. The difference in cardio and striking technique is what this fight will come down to, IMO. Bisping by decision, 29-28.

As you said, Henderson will look to take this fight to the ground, but I anticipate that by the second and third round he will be struggling to do it. If/when Bisping does get taken down, he doesn't have to worry about Hendo submitting him or even TKO'ing him.

Bisping is a more technical striker than Hendo; that's a given. He also knows that, on the feet, all he has to watch out for is that big right hand. Bisping's defensive ("elusive") skills are not mentioned enough, and the chances of head-hunting Dan catching him with that big right are *very* slim.

I'd agree that if Alves wants to win, he has to KO GSP early, and I don't see that happening. GSP is superior to Alves in almost every area, just too many ways for GSP to win and only one way for Alves to win. GSP TKO round 3 or 4, and by that time, Alves will be gassed.

Ok ill leave the hate out but let me try to reason why bisping _might_ win (picking hendo myself)

1. Franklin fight was pretty close, and Bisping is pretty close to what franklin is .. so it could be similiar

2. Bisping is going to get taken down, but the question is, can he get up? Because hendo isn't that good in actually doing alot damage .. and alot of dudes can get up occasionally from under him

I'm Canadian aswell and I personally see the GSP vs Alves. Being a really close fight. But I think GSP will win because he knows Alves is bigger, stronger and has a better stand up game and for some reason GSP performs his best when the opponent has better attributes. But I wont be surprised if I see GSP KOed. Definitely this is a fight to bet on if your betting online for the underdog on Alves as I see the fight 55/45 for gsp

I think lesnar will win cause hes now more "tamed" he knows how fast a fight can end if he makes a mistake. Thats why he took his time against Herring in his 2nd fight and won by decision. I see lesnar doing some lay and pray for a lot of the later rounds cause II think hes going to gas if the fight goes the distance but he will be on top so he will win by decision.

Man I completely agree with the Bisping/Hendo fight. Some people are picking him to win and I just don't understand why, Bisping is almost tailor made for Hendo as far as I can see. Nice pick on the Thiago TKO in round 1, that's definitely a daring pick but I'm picking Alves in that fight as well.

GSP has black belts in Kyokushin Karate & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that I know of. Never heard of him having a TKD black belt, and it's not Guerilla Jiu Jitsu he has experience in it's Gaidojutsu, quite similar, just not exactly.
