  • YOU JUST GET ONE GOLD MEDAL THEN YOUR OUT ON YER ARSE!!

  • I think he deserved better scores. They did the to Katarina Witt, too. The just decide that it's time to give the youngers skater the glory. We have come to expect excellence from Brian, it's hard to watch the few errror he did have. After all, he is human.... not superhuman... but close.

  • he doesn't look like grizzly bear fighting material. i guess his fire breathing and planning abilities really make the difference!

  • whhhhhat would brian boitano do, if he were here today?!... when Brian Boitano was building pyramids, he beat up Kublai Kahn! cus brian boitano doesnt take shit from annnyyybooodyyyyyyyy.

  • Brian had surgery on that right knee later.I wonder if he can still land the triple-axel?

  • Oh, those spread eagles--no time for such "nonsense" now--have to throw in a jump every 10 seconds or so and score those points. Even though there were mistakes here and there in this program, I miss those days of beautiful choreography and skating.

  • I love Brian Boitano's skating. One of the best ever!

  • HIs scores were ridiculously low.

  • @antinotis They were not gonna let him medal.I liked the Sunset,Sunrise music better.

  • I didn't get this program back in 1994. I was really young and the concepts were beyond me. Now, I can see how this really is such a work of art.

  • 1994 olympics yeah well done idiot

  • This program wasnt his greatest performance. His best and most inspired performance was actually at the Pro-Am competition. For me the music was perfectly matched to where he was in life and me for that matter. He may have not done a very good job on jumps, but that 2nd triple axel totally redeemed him from the short program and Skate America and Nationals where he popped it. I feel had he done the performance he did at the Pro-Am he would have placed 4th if not 3rd. Phillipe was so-so.

  • i dont get the music, choreography, outfit.. its just so uninspired.

  • Oh I disagree. Those spread eagles during the slow section I thought had a great aesthetic effect. And then the way the program speeds up with all those triples toward the end, makes for an awesome finish. It's funny how people can get such different impressions of the same thing. I'm not saying one is right or wrong, just depends on your perspective, I guess.

  • I seem to remember some fluff piece they did about this program and remember them saying since the music is by american composers he was dressed as a pilgrim discovering the beauty of the new found land.

  • Oh Dear... This music is Copland's Appalachian Spring, one of the most profound melodies in America's music repertoire. Boitano understood Copland: grand moves, deep edges, strong skating, free will, just as the height of the mountains, the strenght when the wind blows, the small the human being is while being compared to the beauty of nature, his land, his home. This is a sing for freedom and a discovery of a beloved land, identity and love.

  • to skate this well 6 years about winning the gold was amazing. he is a true champion.
