Anyway this system is originally a defense system which has been developed in streets of Eastern Europe and much later introduced within the Israeli army. But it's originally still a self defense system for civilians to defend them self on the street. So it's better to train in normal clothing than in a special uniform as that's more realistic.
If you focus on the movements in this video, you will find some of them were edited to make them look like faster than what they are really are. For example in 2:09 + 2:29 + 2:50 + 3:34 all edited. This proves that Karv Maga not a style or worth for learning but bullshitting. With all, respect to Karv Maga fans. As alternative I suggest MMA.

Yes, of Itay Gil. They're a bit hard to find on Google Video - I just renamed them. Look for words like "Full Version." There are two parts. First part is gi, second is no-gi. His standup game is better than his ground, but the 2-part series is mostly Judo/Jiu-Jitsu.

KM is pretty weak in the US, I'll grant you that. This guy, Sharir is actually very good on the ground, even by US standards, though. Moreover, his teacher (the guy doing the high roundhouse kicks) is a world class level fighter. His standup and self defense is stellar. You can see a couple of his basic level training vids I posted of him on Google Video.

Yes, of Itay Gil. They're a bit hard to find on Google Video - I just renamed them. Look for words like "Full Version." There are two parts. First part is gi, second is no-gi. His standup game is better than his ground, but the 2-part series is mostly Judo/Jiu-Jitsu.

I know Sharir, and I've seen him rape seasoned US MMA fighters - he's been doing MMA before it became popular or "mainstream." Itay (bald guy) studied for over 35 years. Not McDojo Bullshido. Is he going to take top guys in MMA? Probably not. This is just an ad for his private lessons. Is he allowed to advertise, or is that only for non Israelis?

Didn't he study Kyukoshin? Not sure if it was actually Muay Thai. He was a very cerebral standup fighter. Not in the same league as, say, Hoost, but he has some nice tricks and one of the best ring strategies I've ever seen.
