Interesting how when Ethan Hawke's character talks about the guy who wants to go on adventures and travel south america on a motorcycle and fight for something, he was describing Ernest Che Guevara's life in that explanation of self fulfillment
@elite2maverick I think it more aptly describes Jesse's character in the film (he's the unhappy fella with a good job, wife and kid but it's not enough) and possibly Ethan Hawke himself; he was unsuccessful with both writing and marriage.
I get your line of thinking but Guevara-esque adventures are so far removed from the daily trials and tribulations both Before films explore. You don't have to travel great distances to be feeling alive, basically!
Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy have amazing chemistry!!! Absolutely love Before Sunrise and Before Sunset! Everything in these films work- great acting, smart and witty dialogues, cool music and of course, spectacular scenes of Paris and Vienna! I never get tired of watching these movies.. =)
