  • -This is a random question ,but i noticed you had a sofa bed and i just wanted to know is it comfortable to sleep on every night. I was thinking about getting one , so i can use my bedroom as a lounge and gaming room. (My bedroom is about that exact size

  • @TechDuckMan I'm glad you asked that. The futon I have is made by Lifestyle Solutions and it's called the Medina Casual Convertible sofa. It's what's known as a clik clak design, you pull the back forward until you here a click and it unlocks and allows you to fold it down. Then you pull it back up until it clicks and locks upright. And to answer your question, IT'S UNCOMFORTABLE AS HELL! Being a clik clak, it has a hinge that runs down the middle, so you have to sleep on one side or the other.

  • @TechDuckMan It SUCKS! Most uncomfortable bed I've ever owned. If I didn't have to sleep on it every night, it wouldn't be that bad. It makes for a nice couch/guest bed, but I wouldn't recommend getting a clik clak futon if you plan to use it daily.

  • Beautiful!

  • the sound seems nice...I would finish with some candles and try to listen to "Schmoov - Destinations"

  • cooljess76 did u really pay 1000 each, thats seams way high. i think i remember those being 650 or 700 for the pair. I think im gonna get a set of new jbl L 880s for myself for christmas, and move the n-38's back for surround duty or possibly a garage system.. thinking Harmon 3490 stereo reciever for garage..

  • @alphacapo To be honest, I really can't remember exactly how much they were. I bought them back in 1999. I bought the speakers, sub and center along with a HK AVR65, an HK cd changer and all of the cables, so it was an expensive week for a young Navy dude, lol. Back then the AVR65 retailed for about 1100-1200 bucks, I think I paid about half of that. The speakers may have been less. I really can't remember. I remember finding out they made the s412 after I already bought my s312's. I was pissed!

  • @cooljess76 NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @alphacapo I only had the system for about 2 weeks before I got orders to Sicily, so I had to put it all in storage where it stayed in it's original boxes for 5 years. I found out about the s412's while I was stationed overseas and there was no way for me to purchase a set. By the time I returned to the US, the Studio Series was no longer available. I heard the s412's had amplifier problems, but I'm still looking for a pair to complete my system.

  • Nice setup.I dig those JBLs , i have JBL n-38 for fronts in my setup..at the time i was 20 years old or so and couldnt afford the studio series, got the n38's for 125 a piece. but i really wanted a pair JBL s412...anyway the n-38 is a great value considering what they want nowadays for a speaker of simular quality, if anybody can get these speakers used they are well worth it. Old studio/northridge series JBL's are the nuts. Im powered by Outlaw 1050 and 2 monoblocks for stereo music.

  • Sorry dude to me that plant has to go.

  • Where you get them speakers from? Id love to know so i can get some sooner or later. Please reply

  • @Gamer7511 You're not going to find them. I bought them 12 years ago and they were only available for a couple months before JBL got sued for a patent violation and had to remove the remaining stock from the shelves. Copper coned JBL Studio Series S312's and S412P's are extremely rare. JBL later released the Studio Series S312 mkII's, but they came with silver cones and didn't look or sound nearly as nice as the originals. I have a full list of my components in the description. Google the part#s

  • Nice set up Dude, I use to own a similar system about 10 years ago but since I wanted Imax Theater sound, I decided to custom built my dream System which consists of 6 Power amps and all the THX Ultra 2 Plus processings. I have certified all my custom made speakers to exceed THX Ultra 2 Plus specs. Check out my channel.

  • i hope you get hella high then go chill in there

  • OMG YES

  • that is one chill ass room

  • i bet a lota weeds gona be smoked in there

  • That is epic, I'd be all over it if it had a game system.

  • hey thanks man been lookin for it all night with no success but you are right i have found others that are so right thanks again my brother

  • i just wanna know what song that is

  • @PSNphoenixScorpio It's by one of my favorite artists. Check them out, they've been around for quite some time and produce some of the chillest music you'll ever have the pleasure of listening to. Every track they've put out is fresher than the previous ones!

    Artist: St. Germain

    Album: Boulevard

    Song: Street Scene (4 Shazz)

    Runtime: 15:46

  • i just wanna know what song that is but you already know dawg that is a fine work of art

  • nothing wrong with a big set up in a small room eh

  • Them

  • Hey nice setup! How much did those speakers cost and where did you get then?

  • @supNZ1 The floor standing speakers cost almost $1000 each back when I purchased them about 12 years ago. I bought them at BestBuy, but they were only available for a couple months before JBL got sued for a patent violation and had to remove the remaining stock from the stores. The center channel speaker cost a little over 300 and the subwoofer was somewhere around 450 if I remember correctly.

  • LOL IM AN ADIOPHILE TO BUT TO CLASSY FOR ME LOL NICE ORANGE SPEAKERS

  • @TheWoodardman14 LOL THANKS BUT THEY'RE COPPER. LOL PAINTED THE CEILING TO MATCH THE SPEAKERS. FYI, this is a pretty rare set of JBL's. They only sold a couple hundred sets before they got sued for a patent violation and had to pull them from the shelves. After that, they came out with the JBL Studio Series mkII's which had silver cones. A lot of Klipsch speakers have copper cones, but I'm sure you know that being an audiophile and all.

  • damn those are some nice looking speakers!

  • GORGEOUS room! Awesome work!

Saw one of your comments, said you were an audiophile, surprised you have hard floors and no carpet after that comment, care to tell why? :)

  • @LIANG14 Thanks. In hindsight, there's things I could have done differently to improve overall sound quality.Fact is, this isn't a dedicated home theater. It doubles as my bedroom, so there's certain comfort aspects that I prefered to keep the room livable to my style and standards. The room was carpeted, but I chose to replace it with laminate flooring to give the room a little modern appeal. I have an area rug and speaker grills for all of the speakers which aren't being used for that reason.

  • Looks to me like the JBL-s312. Great speaker.I would recommend to upgrade the capacitors.

  • @Gioxtream Yes you are correct they're JBL S312's. I have 4 of them and I absolutely love them! I'm so glad you commented. I've watched your videos and plan on doing the upgrade when time permits. Your speakers really came alive after the upgrade. I'm considering disconnecting my powered sub in hopes that my drivers will become a little more active. Right now, the powered sub delivers 90% of the low frequencies and my drivers barely make any noise. I'd like to get more out of the drivers.

  • NIce place to smoke some weed a fri night

  • haha i like the porno music XD

  • Damn! That's so cooool! I wan't a room like that! =D

  • alright sir very nice CHILL OUT ROOM very nice feel in room

yeah mine is brutal i give you that

yours would sound like little pebbles softly flowing in water

mine is like a trucks dropping of big rocks smashing in the water splashing shit everywhere your roof wow very nice must of taken few days prep 10/10 from me

wires there a pain but i love them i found some Velcro cable ties they stick to others anyway the feel of the room is sooo smooth & warming my hat is of to you sir

    thanks for sharing

  • not bad love the screen

you need a sub man you got mad high but you can't hear what i can

    Subs i mean i got 3 15" 600watts max 15" 1350rms 18" 800rms

    my highs 2 1"+6..5" 140 max 2 2x7 horns/15" 450watt max

that's not even all of it just like a club

  • @subbasslines I have a sub. If you look at the lower right corner of the screen when the video first starts, you'll see a JBL PSW D-110. Aside from that, each of the four JBL S-312 floorstanding speakers has a 12" driver. Trust me, for a 10ft x 11ft room, this is plenty. I'm an audiophile and I like to enjoy my music. Your ears can only hear what my camera and your computer speakers allow you to hear. There's more to music than just bass.

  • @subbasslines Look again @ 4:11

  • Dude, I'm loving the clock. What brand/model is that? Looks like a classic.

  • @wendileona Thanks Wendi, I picked it up on clearance at Target a few years ago. It's part of the Thomas O'Brien "Vintage Modern" collection. I was looking at retro clocks on ebay. There's some really neat ones, but they're all corded. Battery operated is a must if you want to keep the room sleek and fresh;)

  • I have those speakers picked up a mint pair tonight in black off of CL. sweet..

  • @jgwinett Congrats! I guarantee you're going to love them. I highly recommend using high quality speaker wire and a powerful high end preamp/amplifier. A cheap receiver just won't cut it, these things need a lot of power and good components to truly perform to their capability. Best wishes, post a vid of your setup once you're up and running!

  • what cam do u use? it sounds SO clean :O

btw u got a REALLY nice setup there :P

  • @trineersmuk It's an old Casio EX-S500 5.0 megapixel point and shoot. I've had it for about 4 years now. Looking at Nikons, but I might just settle for another point and shoot. I hate carrying around bulky camera bags and lenses. The new Samsung ST550(TL225) 12.0 megapixel HD camera looks pretty sweet.

Thanks, I might be picking up a pair of matching JBL S412P's, but I'm afraid I just don't have enough room for them right now.

  • No..subs fail!

  • @Prideusuck29505 WTF are you talking about? I'm running a PSW-D110 and there's plenty of bass. FYI, I actually enjoy listening to crisp clean music and I do not abuse my equipment. This isn't a Buick Regal on daytons, and I don't live in the ghetto. My equipment is mint and all of the cables are neatly hidden. The audio you're hearing is the actual speakers, it's not dubbed into the video. Post a video of your setup if you're gonna talk shit.

  • @cooljess76

    I think he mean subscribers

  • @SewaNor I'm pretty sure he meant subwoofers, take a look at his channel comments and favs. I do have subscribers but I've hidden the module to protect people's privacy. Prideusuck29505 doesn't even have any uploads and he has subscribers. This tells me he's a troll. I take great pride in my home audio system. Most systems you see on youtube have rat nests of exposed wires and speakers that sound like garbage. True audiophiles appreciate nice equipment, crisp sound and a clean install.

  • @cooljess76

Maybe so, probably some subs 4 subs shit.

But anyway, your setup was really neat, but in my opinion I think it should been a little bit bigger and maybe two sofaes and a table ;)

But anyways what did all this cost?

  • @SewaNor I plan on getting my own place pretty soon. Most of my furniture is in storage hopefully I'll have more room at my new place. Right now this system is too big for this tiny 10'x11' room. I try not to think about how much money I've spent. I bought almost everything new except for the processor/tuner which retailed for $2500 and the TV stand which retailed for $1079. I got a little break on those two items but everything else I paid full retail. See description for a list of components.

  • @SewaNor It's hard to remember exactly how much I've spent since I bought most of it when it was new to the market years ago. If I had to guess, I'd say I probably have a little over 12k wrapped up in this system.

  • thanks bro for the information tomorrow i go to buy PLANTS hahaahhah

  • the music said oh yeah

    fell cool

hahahahhahahhaah realy nice room bro oe a question can i conect an stereo in my tv plasma too, or i need a home theater first, nice room i got to copy you :P

  • @Butters644 Absolutely. My system is connected via an HDMI and digital optical cables. If you have an older stereo that only has analog inputs (red/white), you can hook that up to the back of the TV, but you'll only get stereo sound(right/left), you won't get the full surround effect unless your receiver supports Dolby Digital, DTS, THX or some sort of multi channel theater decoder with digital inputs(optical, HDMI, or digital coax). Thanks for the compliment, I'll post a better video tomorrow.

  • Aren't all of those speakers a bit overpowering for that room?

  • @grindhouse141 Yeah I suppose. I've had these things for over 10 years. They were brand new in the original boxes up until a few months ago, I bought them just before I left the country for 5 years, they remained in storage for an additional 5 years and I finally decided to hook them up. This is actually my bedroom, unfortunately I share a house with other people who can't be trusted to respect my property. I've since dialed it in better, the bass was a little too high when I recorded this vid.

  • is the tv nice, how's the picture quality, have you had any problems with it

  • @lovelydiva06 The picture is incredible, I've had it for about 4 months now, no problems whatsoever. I remember answering a few questions for you before, but I removed all of the comments because 29razorbock29 aka MrJoemumford aka bever49 aka maltyful aka bankguy1000 was trolling youtube badmouthing Samsung products. That guy is a douchebag and has no life.
