@jasaircraft Yes, I have see these oil pressure indicators you speak of. I still stand by my previous statement. The oil pressure couldn't possibly keep up with those instantly fast revs in neutral. Oil can only go so fast. Bouncing off of the rev-limiter in neutral is a good idea if you want to loose compression in your cylinders quite quickly. Car manufacturers made those oil pumps to work when the car is in gear and the revs climb relatively slowly, even while flooring it.
