This man has the easiest well-paid job in the world.
He is the doorman to the EU. He welcomes newcomers to the club with a glass of champagne and assures them of membership. Turkey ? No problem once a few technicalities have been worked out ( even though most Europeans AND Turks are against membership ).
Bulgaria ? No problem, but we are stopping your pocket money 'till you sort out your corruption.
Albania & the un-recognised state of Kosovo ? No problem..soon.
