@bloodleader5 That's not true either. Light was at first killing to make a perfect world, and then take the place as "God of the new world". Then a couple episodes later he had to kill to stay alive. I'm not sure about Lelouch though.

@JesseFielder Light was just making excuses, if he just gave himself amnesia and burned the death note it would have all been over, nothing could have linked back to him. Besides the whole show went down hill for me after L died, from there it was just too *I have somehow manipulated a long chain of chaotic events to complete this goal* actually it got there a little before then, but went right out the window after. even the good guys were crazy on this at the end.

@TheRhuen You're right. I also agree it went downhill right before L died. I hated the Near character, just something about a 9 year old making connections in 5 minutes that L wouldn't have in a week while playing with legos wasn't very compelling to me.
