i'm a fan of world of warcraft pvp style and arena. I'm looking for a new game. something refreshing. Is aion pvp anything remotely close to that of wow? if you know both games well you'd know in wow theres an arena system. 3v3 2v2 and 5v5 and battlegrounds 10v10. Is aion like this? please respond <3

@FlowinSynergyTV no aion does not have any arenas, the pvp consists of rifting, which are portals to take you to the other side and pvp, there is also the abyss for massive, solo, and defend/attack forts pvp...also lvl 50 and lvl 55 there is somewhat a bg type but its pvepvp which is content against npcs and taking over certain places for your faction..most of the time people ignore each other and just go for the pve stuff...its sad really the combat is amazing but the content is gay

I'm going to be trying Aion out again on December 3rd when they're doing that 10 day free to play thing. I'm planning on making a gladiator, because oversized swords are awesome, lol.

Just wondering, did they balance that issue they had with super small characters having an advantage over the bigger characters. I only ever read about the issue, so I'm not sure how devastating it was. :P

CoD is far from the best. It caters to the lifeless 12 year olds with trigger fingers and mods who pick the flavor of the month overpowered weapon and abuse it. MMO-RPGs (like Aion and WoW) and a few Xbox games like Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood on the other hand, cater to intelligence and your ability to adapt to the situation. This is probably why you find them to be "crap", because you lack the essentials to play them, thus is evident by you stating your opinion as fact. :]

The good old days of aion.

Twinking has grown much different over the months.You can't quite solo groups of 6 people while they constantly hit you for a full 2 minutes, since everyone have 5x better gear and comprehension of the game.

It's pretty much all Abyss now on top of that.

@jamestube11 its true....but if you find a good guide you can get to high level pretty fast. but if you do play i would suggest a ranged class unless you feel like waiting to get to 50 to pvp seeing how ranged class (ranger, sorc, Spirit Master, hel even cleric) would win in a battle if they were good at pvp (not saying a glad/sin/temp/chanter cant do god in pvp im just saying ranged classes are ruler of air pvp in this game)
