One of my friends owns a Golf GTI, my father has an Audi S4 and I drive a Evo 9... My Evo makes a lot less problems compared to theirs. The only thing is that they have a better interieur but you don't drive an Evo if you want to sit in a comfortable car.

yea...one of my buddies has a single turbo r32..it walked a supercharged c6 vette on 15 psi...when he goes up to 22psi his stage 3 clutch starts to slip. At 15psi he puts down 510 to each wheel....has never dyno'd at 22 but im sure its close to 600

This is a stock R32 with no turbo where the EVO is turbo but can't really tell if it had any mods but by the looks of the race since its not pulling to hard away from the R32 it looks stock also. Now if you mod both cars you have a good race I like both German and Japanese cars. These are also different cars WV built the R32 to last so no turbo the Mitsu has a turbo you might get 150 or 200 thousand if you are lucky and don't have to replace the turbo with the R32 you can get more if cared for.
@Nbuilder1 And VW needs other parts earlier to be replaced: Clutch (poor material) more expensive. Mitsu is cheaper and more racy. VW is more money and comfy.
Yeah but with both cars the more you tune the more parts you have to replace. If you tune the EVO the clutch has to be replaced also so it can handle the higher HP. Also on the EVO you'd have to upgrade the exhaust, injectors, filtration, intake, turbo and so on to gain more HP. Its true the R32 was design for more comfort then anything else. You'd have to put way more money into the R32 to make it fast.

HGP maybe he was racing for cash to save up then he could of come back for a proper race lighting up all 4s lol The R32 is a big lump in a small car VW put reliability into account not like a stupid arse honda, power aint everything its only there when the engine dosnt fail 0hp isnt cool to your friends. The 3.2 is a work of art you cannot knock on a great creation from VW and R32 mk4 do handle well everything was uprated.

One of my friends owns a Golf GTI, my father has an Audi S4 and I drive a Evo 9... My Evo makes a lot less problems compared to theirs. The only thing is that they have a better interieur but you don't drive an Evo if you want to sit in a comfortable car.

it's a good race... that's it. why are there so many arguments over this? they are both awd cars with close to the same power. the evo has more power and weighs less with a more fun oriented awd system. the r32 was designed to be more luxurious and has a more robust interior. I own neither of these cars and now, nothing even similar to either of these cars. I just am saying they are both very good cars in different way.

yea...one of my buddies has a single turbo r32..it walked a supercharged c6 vette on 15 psi...when he goes up to 22psi his stage 3 clutch starts to slip. At 15psi he puts down 510 to each wheel....has never dyno'd at 22 but im sure its close to 600

This is a stock R32 with no turbo where the EVO is turbo but can't really tell if it had any mods but by the looks of the race since its not pulling to hard away from the R32 it looks stock also. Now if you mod both cars you have a good race I like both German and Japanese cars. These are also different cars WV built the R32 to last so no turbo the Mitsu has a turbo you might get 150 or 200 thousand if you are lucky and don't have to replace the turbo with the R32 you can get more if cared for.

Yeah but with both cars the more you tune the more parts you have to replace. If you tune the EVO the clutch has to be replaced also so it can handle the higher HP. Also on the EVO you'd have to upgrade the exhaust, injectors, filtration, intake, turbo and so on to gain more HP. Its true the R32 was design for more comfort then anything else. You'd have to put way more money into the R32 to make it fast.

All we know is that he is called the STIG" if i remember the timings correctly, STI finished the track around 1.27 where EVO finished it at staggering 1.22. Mind u both cars have the same 2lt turbo AWD. EVO is a EVO!!!!
