  • seriously, i know everyone has their own opinions, but how can anyone dislike this song? it's a perfect instrumental piece. i love it

  • @ASBOMAN yeah I don't understand it either, there's no lyrics nothing controversial about this, I guess the only reason is maybe they just don't like the sound of guitars bass and drums. hearing 60s tunes like this always makes me a wee bit happier

  • @ThePotatoInfestation Hahaha, I was thinkin the same thing, at the very beginning I thought of Scott Bakula on drums

  • @caddyrecord No self respecting Cowboy would be seen Dead in that hat

  • @lillyput13 I think he's Mexican. Mexicans can and will wear any hat... and look good in it.

  • @marvar1 LOL! so freaking true

  • @marvar1 That's hilarious...and SO true! One of the reasons I love surf music.

  • @tikitortured If you like surf music, then you will love this clip presently used in the Heineken Ad (The Date). The sound is like that of The Ventures with vocals plus horns composed around the same time frame (1965). watch?v=XnBbjc5hmho

  • I saw these guys live in Orlando, and was given an actual pick used by Don Wilson. It hangs on my wall now. He can still play!

  • When is this video from? What year?

  • btw-this is a unique video in that, usually if not always, with this line and during this particular song bob bogle always played the lead. He was the original lead guitar player that recorded the classic version. However, Nokie takes the lead. Very cool. Always loved bogle playing Walk don't run and perfidia, however.

  • don wilson had/has the greatest right arm in rock. Not really a lead player at all but a great rhythm guy. I wish I could find a guy like him to start a band with.

  • @seaside882000 there isn't anyone around who now who can hold a candle to the Ventures....Don Wilson is brilliant....and so is Nokie......Mel and Bob....RIP to both of you.....being able to watch them on youtube is the greatest gift for someone who enjoys R&R....

  • This is the best version of "Walk don't run" I've listened... Does anybody know where can i get it?

  • another classical boogie-----wow

  • introvert extrovert doesn't matter

  • I like the cowboy xD

  • happiest lookin' band on earth? i think so

  • @Rich55Williams .....not only the happiest....the best.......they will never be duplicated

  • @Rich55Williams because they're instrumentalists. theres no vocalist whining about how miserable he is...like most pop music you hear today

  • @jcghooker ...You mean like lady Gaga, right?

  • @loufalce Yeah, but just about everybody else, too. That's why I like the old stuff, and instrumentals like this!

  • Very simple playing, by today's standards. But the sound holds up so well. . .gotta be a lesson in there somewhere. . .

  • Leroy: "Mick, this is serious shit you're talking about! DEA, international drug rings, this is all hazardous to your health!" Mick: "Yeah but, well think of what it'll do to your reputation." Leroy: "Oh yeah, yeah...Leroy Brown...the baddest man in the whole damn cemetery!!"

  • Is there any thing with Don Wilson playing lead?

  • I've been roaming around this surf music and it's so relaxing...

  • A huge part of The Venture's magic was not just the great tunes and catchy riffs, it was also that their stripped-down, minimally produced sound allowed the great natural textures of the instruments and amps to tell the story. So much music is over-produced into a sickening glaze that the natural sonic nuances and individual textures of the instruments are virtually lost. LESS is MORE, when it comes to recording and producing good music!

  • @philipatoz

*IRONY ON* Yeah! but then we would have to learn to play instruments! *IRONY OFF*

    I agree totally to you!

The Ventures rule! I love the music it puts a smile in my face everytime i listen to it.

  • Yeah chooch it :~)

  • I really love how Keith Moon plays the drums in this video.

  • @SciFiBMovieGuy its mel taylor

  • @401JamesMr I know. I was being silly, and wondering how many would catch it. But I failed, embarrassingly. :-)

  • Nokie is smiling! The Best Ventures.

  • 素晴らし区、良かったです。
