Zr1 only got it in the lower 3sec 0-60 is because of lightweight and with 638hp at the crank. The 2011 gtr does 0-60 in 3.4 sec cause of awd with 160 less hp then the 638 hp that the zr1 has. Now the 2012 gtr has 530 hp and does 0-60 in 2.9 sec.

@toneykk hes not launching at the factory 4500 rpm hes launching at 3000 which is a lot better on the tranny than 4500. if you watch a video of someone launching at 4500 you will hear the tires slipping and the tranny shaking. 3000 rpm is perfect for launching no wheel slip and no tranny shaking.

@Nebraskahusker23 Because the Auto shifts fast so not much time lost to shift. The shorter gear ratio leads to faster car with less HP. Final Drive in 2009 was 3.7 ... in 2010 and newer that was changed to 2.937 so now it can go to 195mph without shifting into over drive and the extra power help keep from an acceleration loss. Plus cruising at 70 rpms drop from 2500rpms to 2000rpms so probably has better gas milage now..
