When I was 12 I got my first new pc, my first pc I got at 8 and had absolutely no problem setting up...and I set up my first new pc in under 10 minutes, includeing internet connection to authenticate windows XP. Or something ....I can't really rember if it was for windows or HP....Anyway they over dramatized this way too much, plus the kid obviously knew where every single component went...

@MinecraftOpenGL i own 2 copy's of windows 7 and it's ok btw windows 7 came out in 2009 this comercial was made in 1999 so according to you pc's were worthless untel 2009. According to it to microsoft to 10 years of stealing apples idea's to ake useful operating systems something that Os 9 and OSX are all ready. Have you used OSX 10.7 "LION" yet you will be amazed and wait ten years windows will have some of it's features :P

@MinecraftOpenGL i won windows 7 and i am beta testing windows 8. so since windows 7 did not come out until 2009 window and OS 9 came out 1999 it took 10 years for microsoft to steel enuff ideas form mac osx to finally make a usable os (you said it not me" Win 98 n xp are useless" wait another ten years and windows win has some of Ios and Osx loins features lol

@LukesComments Because Back then Intel was actually slower. The PowerPC was a billion times more advanced than the Pentium series . Apple could have continued to do PowerPC, but when the switch happened, Intel had moved from the Pentium architecture to their "Core" series, and it was more advanced than Apple's aging G5 processor. That's the reason behind.

@Spidermankevin78 in my life I've had 6 macs system 7 up to osx snow leopard. big deal you spent a lot of money and snapped together a computer, anyone with means can do that. Anyways, having a bunch of computers doesn't prove which is better, it only proves that you've had a bunch of computers. Even with your great experience with computers you still misspell the simplest of words, which suggests you lack basic intelligence, and it just so happens you prefer macs to pc's.

Not to mention in most PC even laptops you still need to wipe the drive to reinstall a clean version of Windows because of all the junk software PC manufacturers install.
